al beristein is the official showtime commentator ffs. it aint ac slater, it just aint hbo hence no lampley, steward etc
Just read on another message board that ESPN is available on freeview and that August is free for whatever that is worth
What the hell is with the picture? Its like it is slightly zoomed in, the tops of the fighters heads were cut off! Plus not in HD on the HD channel! Will be worth subscribing if they show ESPN HBO Showtime cards live in HD.
Yeah the picture was zoomed in really wierd, half of the time you couldn't see the fighters heads! Very amateur. To be fair they have cobbled all this together very quickly though. Re, HD, they are still sorting the HD feeds out and apparently this will take a couple of weeks.
i'm in the same boat as you. my standard ariel is messed so can't get it on freeview and virgin isn't in my area so have only got sky box. I aint subscribed to sky though so i don't think i'll be able to get espn as i THINK you have to be susbcribed to get espn. Was gonna ring them up today and ask but forgot, will do tomorrow if i remember.
I think you'll be okay although the *******s will charge you £12 a month rather than the £9 to Sky sports subscribers. Don't take that as gospel but thats my understanding
yh i was thinking that as well. i'm fine with £12 providing there's some live boxing and than ufc, football, cricket as bonus. you never know with sky crafty fukas.
its encouraging to see this ,but dont we think were getting ahead of ourselfs with the talk espn doing boxing on a permanent feature.they would have announced it by now, they may do a eurosport and just by the fights a few weeks after etc .
