Desert Storm is a very very good prospect and a kid that could be a great. I have been hearing things about him for some time now and tried to keep updated on how he has been getting on. Maybe he could have done with the Castillo fight not falling through but I expect him to put up a very dangerous fight and Witter better be focused and expect a tough fight.

I am certain he is better than D-Hop and a real potential banana skin for Witter. The kid is no way a gimme fight for Witter.

'Desert Storm' sounds like a racehorse!

Seems like this Bradley is a serious unbeaten opponent for Witter so credit to him for making this fight - especially if it is Stateside.

Hopefully Witter will not under-estimate him and will have too much experience for the guy.

Witter deserves alot of credit for this fight. Desert i serious threat and could go onto big things, win or lose. I still think Witter will win but he needs to be focused and ready for an hard fight.

Bradley will get home advantage im sure but may still be abit inexperienced against the best fighters to cause an 100% Witter to lose.

Would Witter be the main event then?

I can't see Witter not being focused for this one - a good performance and win will keep the momentum going for a possible fight with Hatton and should get him some recognition in the States too, especially if it is televised over there.

assuming the boxrec record is correct, how has he managed to become mandatory without fighting an eliminator, or any 12 rounders for that matter?

    Never heard of him.

Comments on the first two pages seem somewhat less negative than I imagine the would be if Ricky Hatton announced the same fight.

Apparently Bradley was due to face Jose Luis Castillo but Castillo failed to make the weight for their eliminator & the right to challenge Witter.

He was originally going to fight Castillo for a WBC eliminator but Castillo pulled out so they made Bradely mandatry by default.

    And that Is?

He can't afford to not fight his mandatries like Hatton can and actually defends his status as champ rather than constant vacting and then winning back the belt for some money.
