    I meant 122-126

but I agree the above applies for 126.

He was a dick, and didnt fulfil his potential though

Witter has the most explosive punch at 140 by far and could put many 147 to shame. Skill wise he is decent and he's got that dangerous ingle thing going on. If he beats harris which i think he will then he could potentially dominate the light-welter division. Obviously there are fighters out there who could pinch a decision against him such as malianagi but he could go on to biuld a really good top level carrer.

He better do it quick then, I believe he's 33 as it is!

The light welter division is light on real talent at the moment due to the populariyty and money in the welter so it will either be a second level boxer playground or get ruled by someone. Witter has the chance to do it, that dosnt mean that he will but he has it in him beat the rest out there.

Yeah it's a possibility, though the likes of Mbaye and Malignaggi might have something to say about it (I don't like any of their chances against Hatton, but assume he may soon make a step back to welter in search of bigger fish). Witter's meet with Vivian Harris in September will tell us a lot more about where he stands in the scheme of things. Harris is a dangerman, shocking loss to Maussa aside.

Harris seemed to be very highly rated before that loss but i do rate witter. The winner of that could dominate for a time. Mbaye is not top level and malignagi has a little punch rate, mainly down to his hand troubles admittedly but it still is a weakness.

Personality asidxe he achieved much and way more than most. But we expected more because he was so talented so i guess its a moot point.

Forests KO of Harris was the most atrocious KO i have ever seen.

I never claimed he was featherfisted, I just claim that he was not a very "big" hitter. You can't use throwing N'dou around, when Malignaggi dropped N'dou and buzzed him several times, N'dou is obviously effected by speedy delivery, which Naggi and Witter have and what Cotto doesn't as much. Cotto mauls you.

Anyway, he *could* stop Harris, but I don't think he'd have a gameplan where trying to stop him is the motive(which he'd need to go all out on Harris), so I'd take him by UD.

    i think witter beats harris.

harris looked awful against lazcano last time out.

castillo whipped lazcano. :blood remember him. :yep

    concerning the hatton/hamed argument.

i think it's closing up all the time.

naz made 15 title defences and beat some good fighters.

hatton has beaten a clutch of good names and 2 top notchers.

hamed still takes it for now.

i'd put naz in the very good bracket meself.

    he fell short against barrera.

we all knew barrera would be his biggest fight.

a little like we all knew tszyu would be hatton's biggest fight.

he fell short of greatness in the end.

    yeah that's a good point u make.

hamed for all his wins, never did beat a real top notch opponent like hatton has done.

i still give the edge to naz cos of the amount of solid top 10 contenders he beat.

but hatton is catching fast i think. :bbb
