This isn't how I would want to see this fight made. I'd like to see Witter beat Bradley in a rematch. I'd like to see Hatton win his fights and then fight Witter after Malignaggi.
being put into retirement by the man who's been chasing you and calling you a coward for years would look far worse than just slipping away after a lazcano defeat. would certainly hammer away at hatton's pride more than any other loss. what i'm saying is that he'd rather pack it in imo than take a last chance of redemption against witter. although in reality he'd have more options.
I may be wrong because I didn't buy this PPV. But judging by most comments on the general forum the #1 +#2 at LWW were unimpressive tonight - particularly Malignaggi. I wonder if Witter is more optimistic about getting back in the mix after tonight:think
Hatton was good. Malignaggi was ****. Even if you thought both were unimpressive, they fought hard and got the win. Witter was unimpressive and just didn't have anything in him to get the win. That's why Hatton and Malignaggi are #1 and #2....and Witter's the forgotten man of boxing.
You're going to think this is biased BS but.....PM looked poor, Hatton looked sharp but nothing more and certainly answered any questions about his stamina (I thought people were reading too much into Collazo and Urango)
