Since Witter needs credibility and it makes no sense for Bradders to fight him again, a good man to fight would be Malignaggi. Let's see if Witter can do a "Hatton" on him. With a Witter victory, he should be nicely inline for a fight with Kotelnik/Holt-Torres etc.

    Can Witter beat Malignaggi?

I'm not sure what kind of fight this would be, but yes, he could.

Witter would beat the hell out of Paulie. Before it was Paulie fans and Hatton haters hyping this guy up. Now, Hatton fans are trying to hype this guy up to make Hatton look better. Paulie is not that good. He doesn't have what it takes to beat a guy on Witter's level.

after paulie's no show against hatton i think witter would beat him. but i don't think witter would want to fight malignaggi, i think he wants to take care of beating bradley first, and if he does fight malignaggi then hatton would just come out saying that he has beaten his left overs.

Witter is a much better fighter than Paulie. That much should be painfully obvious.

This is what I'm talking about. This is not a 50/50 fight. Paulie is a one handed fighter with defensive issues. He would get smoked against Witter.

i think witter would beat paulie, but i'd rather see witter fight bradley again, a fight i think he would win.

Bradley has more sense. He's already beaten Witter on a close decision and has other fighters to get it on with. Should Bradley win against Holt/Torres, he'll be on his way to a Hatton showdown and Witter will be left with nothing.

true but witter isnt anything special either, poor workrate, average accuracy, decent power, decent speed, average defence, suffers from a definite loss of concentration from round 5 onwards etc....

If it was the Malignaggi of the last fight i think even my nan could make it go the full 12 rounds. But seriously, as Paulie tries to re-build his career over the next year is he really going to want to take a risky fight against another dangerous Brit? On the back of his last fight (TKO in Bethnal Green) Witter seems to be making somewhat of a reuturn to form so i wouldn't recommend Malignaggi stepping into the ring with him any time soon.
Witter - Bradley II would be alot more interesting as I honestly think JW was having an off day following the recent news of his dad's lung cancer the first time round.
