Junior Witter been playing up his fight with Bradley, he says Bradley does not hit very hard but he has great skills and can change styles well.

Also he wants to get back in the ring with Andreas Kotelnik, he says Kotelnik is proving himself as a World Champion and Witter says he will prove once again he is the better man, Kotelnik has stated he does not want to fight Junior and will persist with Ricky Hatton.

Again he mocked Hatton talking about his latest excuse, saying

"I don't actually remember saying it but I probably did. It might have been the only thing I said to him that night - we don't have full-sentence conversations.
"It's got to be the worst excuse Hatton has come up with yet, and there have been plenty of them, but what I said obviously made a lasting impression."

Witter wanted Mayweather, Kotelnik and Malignaggi.

Mayweather, Kotelnik and Malignaggi want Hatton.

No wonder he's obsessed with Hatton. To apply it to life, Witter works in McDonalds and can't pull....Hatton owns his own business and can sleep with any woman he wants. :rofl

It is a real shame that a fighter as good as Junior Witter has found himself left out in the cold for so long.

I can offer the following reasons why:

    1. Nobody put a gun to his head and forced him to fight Judah. So cut the crap.

    2. The performance against Judah was shite. 'Seize the moment' should have been his motto.

    3. On his most high profile fights before winning the WBC title, he had his chances to put on a show, and failed miserably.

    4. Hatton is very popular, and always has been. Instead of bleating on, make people like you by entertaining them. Whatever anyone says about Hatton, he is rarely in a **** fight. You are.

    5. Instead of stalking him, you should have built your own legacy, and forced him to fight you. Make yourself the bigger name. You may now have the WBC title, but Hatton has the Ring title, the linear title, the love of the fans and PPV demand in America.

    6. Try moving up/down in weight to take on a big name. Put yourself in the shop window. Thus far, you ain't!

    7. Stop calling out people and accuse people of ducking you. It is tasteless and lacks class - unlike your recent performances in the ring.

    8. You haven't endeared yourself to the public at all. In a interview on Calendar news, you would have made non-boxing fans cringe with your arrogance and self appreciation. Also, all we ever hear is 'Ricky Hatton this......' or 'Ricky Hatton that.....' Stop being a voyeur.

Basically, cut the arrogance and know your place. You are fighting on a Carl Froch undercard at the Nottingham Arena.

    Shame, but true.

I doubt the second part of that statement. He could probably sleep with any man from Manchester (and all the arse licking Hatton shills on this forum) but doubt he is every womans dream (even with all the money he cant get a **** transplant). :nut

Beeston, agree with all of that.

The one that stands out is number 6......Witter should be looking to fight a top 10 welterweight to get his name out there. Fights with Bradley just don't get him anywhere!

Cintron after he loses to Margarito, a rematch with Judah after he loses to Mosley, maybe even Williams......he should sound all those guys out.

Tackling mandatory challengers only gets you so far - look at the amount of stick Calzaghe has taken over the years for defending his WBO belt against mandatories. All this about nobody wanting to fight him is bollocks - pay em enough money and they will come and fight.

If he stays in as good a shape as he makes out, he could drop those five pounds and fight at 135, or even move up to 147 and take on one of the losers from the upcoming fights across the pond.

If an American is fighting for a title and not hyped like ****, he can't be up to much!

Just do something, and stop whining.

Neither is Hatton all that. PBF showed what level Hatton is at  when he hit him so hard that Hatton was forced to headbut the turnbuckle.

    :rofl

He's just not good enough to dominate, he's not exciting enough to be demanded by TV, he's too awkward to be used by a bigger fighter as a stepping stone and he hasn't got the fan base or backing to force big fights.

If Witter could start his career all over again, he might make a good fist of it....unfortunately, he's the forgotten man.

    No, it wasn't.

You took my comment to be literal and started giving an analysis. Flid. :patsch

Kurt, you are correct - but surely you must admit that there is a difference between a guy who has never looked like losing in his natural weight division, and taking the world's best fighter (and top 10 P4P ATG IMO) to beat him outside of his own weight division, than a guy who has acheived great success winning the WBC title, but not beating guys who could be considered top 10/15 P4P and top 3 in his own weight division.

I am not a hugger, I admire both guys as fighters and Hatton as a person - but feel Witter is a bit of an arse!

It would be a great fight, and I would pay good money to see it!
