O FFS get of this bloddy forum.Let me guess your new to boxing right? Harris over hyped?!?!?! Harris was LEGIT.A legit threat to ANYONE at 140.He blew his wad trying to impress vs Maussa but he had some excellent wins over Hurtado Urkal twice Lacazno Stevie Johnston and Golden Johnston. Harris was ALWAYS seen as a real threat to ANY of the champs at 140.His a tall rangy box puncher who would give any fighter at 140 a torrid time.Witter rose to the occasion and did a job on him.

Corley has been in the ring with the likes of Cotto PBF Judah and Witter and you have the audacity to call him a journeyman? Seriously dude get the **** out of here. When Corley was a world champ Warren steered Ricky well clear of him and gave up Rickys mandatory shot at Corley rather than face him.Thats some journeyman:patsch.

Witter despite having a very poor career start due to FW has risen through the ranks in devastating fashion annexing all domestic titles on his march to being a world champ a legit one with a "Real" belt.Id say Witters done ****ing good for himself seeing as FW threw him to the wolves and promised him nothing.

Lol definetly not new to boxing. You talk about these fighters like Urkal and Lazcano as if they are all world class, they aren't world class they failed at the top level beating decent boxers doesn't make you world class. You seem to be suggesting that anyone who ends up 35-2 is world class or with a similar record Urkal got beat by Tszyu beat by Cotto and Harris in other words he wasn't and never will be world class same with Lazcano.

As for Corley, well won't even bother he failed against all the big names he fought that's why he has 6 losses. If you honestly trying to say Witter won the title fair against a world class operator then that's rediculous!

It's a shame we didn't get to see Witter at 140 against Cotto or Hatton or Mayweather or Tszy etc

But anyway back to original point I still think Torres will take Witter out.

Why, based on your rationale who has Torres beaten? The one time he stepped up he got done.

I think he's underrated, I thought strongly after the Cotto fight if trained better he could of beaten Cotto, if he has a solid camp I think he will beat Witter but I am under no illusions he's a committed fighter he's had discipline probelms in the past.

Get off the forum you joke.

aaah, I was just bustin your balls!;)

Come on UK2004, just admit that you were a bit harsh calling Harris a journeyman. He was a dangerman that Witter put away spectacularly.

Go on, admit it! you know you want to:deal

Errrhhh did you see the fight? Who dropped Cotto? Torres punhced himself out going for the early KO but when he uses his jab its pretty good, don't be harsh on the guy he gave Cotto a damn good test.

To be fair he gave cotto a good fight but if they rematched at 147 cotto would give him a beating.

Agree with you 100% Torres is true 140 whereas Cotto even looks a brute at 147 and has also improved.

Wow thats some real high standard you got there. I mean Urkal getting beat by Kostya? You should stop reading boxrec and watch the actual fight.Kostya was lucky to walk away with a decision.
