My wife should be an escape from the harsh managerial and business side of life. Having that directly at your home, everywhere would drive me "nuts".

 

Ima go against the norm, just to address a point: Many of these fighters that have their significant others serve in management roles, only so they can technically manage themselves.

This can be a good strategy as long as you don't get married. Sign that paper, and you give them the power to take half of what's yours or even more if **** hits the fan

Well there is a solution to that, a prenuptial agreement! While I myself think marriage is a total waste of time, there are some logical reasons to do it, like the tax incentives and such, America especially rewards those who are married. With that said, I still never want to be married at all, it seems absolutely pointless. There is nothing to gain, it's nothing but a sentimental ceremony and unity, with no tangible gain. However, a good friend of mine got married, but still had the sense of mind to get a pren-up. He kept his own bank accounts, kept his finances separate, they both did. When things went South and they divorced, she couldn't take a dime from him. Yeah he was still out the cost of marriage, but that's small potatoes compared to losing houses, cars, etc. that were yours, alimony, and the normal things guys usually get ****ed over with in divorces.

 

Both you and your friend have good strategies. It's also my goal to avoid getting married.

 

Most times if the women your wife/gfriend in charge then the mans a punk or at least effeminent man, mammas boy. Bad idea if you want any respect in the relationship, you better get use to doing as you told boy............

Mans a leader and woman is a helper still equal just different roles...
