Nope, he picked Wlad by KO and for very good reason. He picked Fury over Wlad previously and was right on that. The bumpkin billionaire will be getting his ass whupped.
He also picked Martin over Joshua, Ruiz over Parker,Washington to K.o Wilder and stated Haye hits harder than Mike Tyson and also was more effective fighter among other things i cant remember right now. he also considers ali who fought Williams the best boxer hes ever seen? Based on what? that would make williams ( injured at the time over the hill ) a world beater today wouldnt it? Sorry but that guy is good for little knick knacks here and there but overall highly dubious,he got lucky in that fury Pick over wlad...i know that much...lol One pick he did get right as i did was Breazeale over Izu and thats because he thinks jabbing forward is a bad idea which also is false. The reason why breazeale won was bc he had durability not bc Izu used forward jabs ...they WERE actually working.
Wlad never ducked anyone. His era just happened to be weak af. Was I wrong for saying he never beat anyone elite? Yeah sure. Povetkin/Haye can be considered elite. When was that post btw? Seems like you've been doing some digging. But my point stands, Wlad did what he could do for this era, so he is a legend. Even though I criticize Golovkin like crazy, if he did it for 10+ years he'd be a legend in my eyes too.
I'll save that one for next log in.. I'm off to work now ellerbe. You should try it.. Don't lose sleep over our next encounter do bro.. I'm sure I'll have plenty to go. You do have 22000 to choose from.
I'm totally going to lose sleep from it. Watch out, I might bump this thread 2 days later without even having a notification from you all butthurt and upset. I can't help it, what you said really got to me. I'm going to be dwelling on this for days. Have fun at "work". I like how you're trying to prove something to me.
Most of those opponents AJ has treated like heavy bags are absolute bums. Absolutely awful opposition. AJ's resume is pitifully weak. It's laughable that he's gone 3-0 in world title fights beating Martin, Breazeale and Molina. It's as bad as Wilder's. His best win is Dillian Whyte, who isn't a world class opponent either. That might be why people suspect even a shot WK can beat AJ. AJ might be the real deal but his record is phony as hell, and winning a "mismatch" (as you say) against an old man like Wlad won't change that either.
Joshua only because I want the young guy to win, and the old guy to retire. I have no dog in this game and really could care less who wins (just want a good fight).
I'm a Wlad fan so Wlad. If he wins I know he'll seek out the best or try to re-match Fury. Joshua might give the fans more " Wilder " non-top ten like opponents, or very old top ten opponents for title matches. Two quick examples: Breazeale and Molina, did not deserve title shots yet Joshua gave them shots, and they looked like sparring sessions. At least ten better men could have been in the ring with him on those nights. If Joshua wins, the touch is passed. He better act like a champion should, but I have some doubts as he mentioned a while back he wants to retire in 5 years. Heavyweight boxing needs singifant matches, so the winner better better give us another one.
I like them both. Wlad is one of my favourite boxers from this decade. Joshua is the future of the HW division. I hope it will become a classic and it would be best for the sport if Joshua will be the winner.
Who are you kidding, Dino. You're taking this line of thinking Wlad beats AJ for two reasons. 1. You want to minimize Wlad's accomplishment if he wins, while maximizing his loss to Fury and 2. If Wlad gets ktfo he likely retires, and then you'll be without an active hw to hate. You like Wilder and Fury, so you appear to be setting up AJ as a guy you can carry on a hate quest against so you can sate your hate urges in the future.
