Peter hit Wlad on the back of the head twice which caused the Knock downs. Those punchs were fouls and peter should have lost points. He hit James Toney on the ropes while peter was holding. Peter hit him with two illegal punchs. It was funny peter gave him some bear hug punchs. He has been exposed. Dirty fighter overhyped goathearder.
He does look overly lean in that first photo, but as has been said, its probably the angle and lighting. In the other photos that were posted, he looks as usual- in top condition, and ready to take someeone OUT.
Every great fighter has illegal methods in there arsenal, Wlad, excessive holding and laying on fighters backs, Lewis, laying on fighters backs, Holyfield, headbutting, Tyson using elblow/Forearm when throwing a hook, Ali, holding his oppenents back of the head while punching. Sam Peter hurt Wlad all fight, which led to Wlad excessively clinching Peter over 95 times. Wlad was hurt by a Peter right hand, which led to an obvious panic attack by Wlad where he had to hold for dear life so he wouldnt go down, Peter then pushed Wlad off him and punched him down to the ground. Wlad turned his back to Peter and payed dearly for it, the punches Peter hit Wlad with were legal, because Wlad put his head and turned back, causing Peter to land those type of punches, the ref probably should of warned Wlad or gave him a standing 8 when he turned back to his opppenent.
Thats a very good post, but Iggy going the distance with Wlad is very unlikely IMO. I think Iggy has a decent chance of knocking Wlad out early, but other than that I see Wlad landing solid punches by the middle rounds and finishing Iggy eventually. Iggy is a slick boxer, but I dont see him dodging Wlads power all night along, if he dont blitz Wlad early and take him out of his comfort zone, he's in for a long night that will end with him experiencing a brutal knockout.
The Scam Cheater fight wasn't close. If you say it was you are the only one who thinks it was. Cheating behind the head shots don't count as real knockdowns. If that would have happened they would have protested the **** out of that cheating **** Scam Cheater.
Wlad 44 KO's in 52 fights. Iron Mike 44 KO's in 58 fights. Wlad's dont look as flashy but he get's the job done.
Wlad turned his back after taking two shots and ate a big overhand right on his way to the canvas - it wasn't really a rabbit punch like Bowe hit Holy with in that 11th round in Nov 92 and that was credited as a knockdown... Everybody knows Toney ducks low and runs into risk of taking right hands on the back of the head and Peter was warned in those situations - I thought Toney was exposed in that fight or was after the Betchelder stinker ( then he was caught). One may not like Peter and call him unpolished, but Jeremy Williams was a clean, fashion model-beautiful hwt and went to pallokaville all the same... Let's see what Maskaev does about the overhyped Peter and then we'll talk about it.
Alright, I also don't see him going the distance but just between you and me, Punisher33, don't tell me you want Wlad to finish Iggy cause you want Peter and only Peter to finish the job on Wlad?!
Exactly what I was trying to say. With all respect to his fans but if you see how he trains like a beast you think he's going to fight the hulk. Yet in the/a fight he throws like 10 jabs and 2 rights a round. The way he is training/preparing you'd expect a beast in there destroying opponents within seconds. He seems to have more ''problems'' mindly then physically. I think the training/preparation he does is not necessary for the way he is fighting. Peace
To be honest, I would love to see Iggy beat down Wlad, It's just hard for me to picture it happening. I dont know if you caught Iggy on FNF talking about the Wlad fight about a month ago, he seems to be very confident, Brian Kenny asked him his strategy and what will take for him to win against a fighter like Wlad, in broken english he said something like " He has a surprise in store for Wlad", he refused to go into detail about it, but I'm hoping he guns for a knockout early.
you have obviously never watched a Wlad fight or are blind. WLad throws 50 plus jabs per round...check round 6 vs Brock..."wlad has thrown 60 jabs tripling the heavyweight ave."
