Wlad’s preparation for forthcoming fight

Ray Austin didnt even deserve a title shot in the first place, he's like Dominck Guinn or a Monte Barret, certainly not top 10 material, where Iggy is IMO.

 

The Rain Man had a surprise for Wlad? I guess it was that coin toss and that ridiculous Grant/Reyes gloves affair... May this Iggy surprise be testing Wlad's stamina by running around in the ring or is he really going to give a gift to him and walk away from boxing?

True, but it's really no different than any other sactioning body or promoter, they gave Brewster a chance to fight Wlad for the WBO title in 04, after being out for 15 or 16 months. The worst is the WBC giving Vitali every chance in the book to come back and fight for the title, even after being out since December of 04 and through several postponements and cancelations on his part.

 

It was not Brewester but the same puppeteer that got him the title shot, just like he got Peter to fight Klitschko after beating the likes of Yanqui Diaz.

Indeed. My point was that it is not fighters fault they get undeserving title shots or eliminators but it is of the corrupt promoters and organizations.

 

Right, but Peter was the favorite going into the Wlad fight I believe, and as FourtyOunce already stated, Wlad had already lost his title to Brewster the year before, and was coming off of wins against likes of Williamson and some other second rate fighter.

Who did you pick between Ibragimov and Briggs, and Ibragimov and Holyfield?

 

Hell no he is an overhyped fatass. It's like Toney said go back to africa and feed his goats. I can't wait to See him Fight Oleg. Oleg gonna chin check his fatass. He did not deserve the win over McCline. McCline knocked his fatass down 3 times. Don King is the reason Goatherder won the fight. It was a robbery just like his win over James Toney. Toney busted his face up with his jab right hand and combinations. Peter goy frustrated cause he was getting outboxed by a middleweight and help him on the rights and bear hugg punched him four times.

 

I picked Briggs to beat Ibragimov and Ibragimov to beat Holyfield, I thought Briggs would hurt him early and get him out of there, considering Iggy has a shaky chin and Briggs has serious knockout power early in fights, considering 60% of his wins come by first round knockout. After the Briggs fight I gave Iggy some props and realized he has good boxing skills and can could get some fighters in trouble since he's a lefty, against Holyfield I pretty much knew he would outbox Holyfield to a decision or grab a late round stoppage, something that was done by other good boxers like Bryd, Donald, and Toney.

 

Wlad busted Brewsters ass in the rematch. Buddy threw the towl in cause Wlad was embarrassing him so badly hitting Brewster with everything he threw at him. Peter has not gotten any better since he lost to Wlad. Wlad has gotten better. His defence has tightened up and he chooses he punchs more wisely. **** at the end of there first fight Wald hit Peter with a left hook and Peter's legs got weak and he damn near fell on his fatass. Wlad hurt him twice in the final round with legal punchs.

 

Calm down, I realize you hate Sam Peter, but to say he hasnt improved in skill level, you must be blind or dont watch enough Sam Peter fights. Since Peter fought Wlad in sept. of 05 he has improved his jab greatly, also his body punching has become quite good as well, but unlike in 05, he now chooses his punches more wisely.

I'm a Wlad hater, but I still can be reasonable about my opinions on him. I think if your going to go out of your way to make fun of Peter, at least use facts, saying Peter hasnt improved since he fought Wlad is a lie and you know it.

 

I do not hate Peter at all. He is just to oevrhyped thats all. Don King dont help things. Anyway I am looking forward to Peter Maskaev. I think its gonna come down to who has a better chin, stamina, and boxing skills.

 

Toney is a better fighter plain and simple he was robbed in the first fight. Can't waitm to Oleg checks Peters glassjaw. Peter is a fat piece of **** plain and simple he will never be an atg.
