Sanders destroys Wlad 11 out of 10 times. The reason Wlad avoided a rematch, he was scared and had no guts.
It would still be dangerous for Wladimir today in the first few rounds. In the first fight I thought Wladimir got nailed cuz he kept reaching with his punches. The Wladimir of today fights much better technically and is better composed. There is a chance of Sanders catching him early and knocking him out, but I think that Wladimir will stay away from Sanders early on jabbing at him fighting cautiously like he did with Haye, then once Sanders tires and isn't moving as much the right hand will come out. Wladimir by KO or TKO in rounds 8-10.
Wlad showed vs Haye, that when focused on defense, he doesn't get hit, despite the speed of the punches. Now, Sanders would pose a different problem, since he's southpaw, but I believe Wlad would win, since he'd know Sanders is only a viable threat early on. He'd be very cautious early on.
03 ko was legit as it gets. Today's Wlad weathers the storm to a late ko. Style difference is huge compared to Wlad 03.
Wlad by stoppage. Sanders deserved his win that night, but lightning wouldn't strike twice. Wlad isn't the same man... he uses his footwork and he set his punches up rather than overextending and trying to bomb people away.
Wlad was winning 2 of the 3 fights handily before gassing out, hes much smarter and sets a better pace and gets hit less vs Sanders he prob underestimated him and didnt do his homework now he would fight him like haye, stay on the outside force sanders to come to him not the other way around sanders had a hard fast punch and set traps, thats how he beat wlad and thats how he caught vitali in round 1 make sanders come to you and its a different fight wlad would jab and be cautious after 4 or 5 sanders would be tired if wlad intelligently wears him down without taking too much risks he wont get caught
Nothing lucky about that fight...Corrie beat him like an ugly stepson. Sanders 10/10, just wrong style for Wlad, guy the same size and quicker who can crack, thats a nightmare.
You are really overexaggerating. Wlad was fighting lazy, following Sanders into his traps... throwing power punches without setting them up... and backing out with his hands down... Sanders made him pay for his mistakes. It was a learning experience and it would NOT happen again.
