Vlad has been at that weight before. He actually gains weight whenever he trains! He was around that weight before the Austin fight I think. He was around 246 for Derrick Jefferson and both were 2nd round knockouts!

This is what prompted me to believe he will not beat Wladimir this time around and he'll probably do far worse.

Gone is the sheer aggression of clubbing right hands and quick left hooks. That is the guy that took the champion 12 rounds, drew 95 clinches and knocked him down three times.

This time around Wladimir won't have to clinch 95 times. Sam will be sitting on the end of his jab all night no thanks to this bull**** boxing style they've been trying to fit him with since the McCline fight.

I'm probably one of the few that thinks the Toney fights did more harm for him than good. He needs to come out in this one guns blazing ala the first fight. Tear a page from Lamon Brewster's KO of Andrew Golota. Big guys don't bend at the waist. Drop that left hook downstairs and bring it back upstairs while stepping with it.

Only chance he has in this really.

A full colon can make a difference.

Peter can probably take a five pound dump.

Upon his death in 1977, doctors who did the autopsy on Elvis said his colon was stretched to double the size of a normal colon... Thus causing irregular droppings and bloatation... Geez, just imagine when he was able to actually drop off the package and feed the catfish... It must've been a monster dump for the ages.?.?

Oh, I'm sure Sam Peter can drop off a huge package himself after a trip to his favorite buffet...

Good observation, Ambition_Def. I also believe Peter will do much worse in this fight due to trying to box too much with Wlad. He will be susceptible to fighting Wlad's fight. With Sam's comparatively limited physical attributes, that plays right into Wladimir and Steward's hands. They will exploit this new approach from Peter.

Sam is getting stopped tomorrow, but he'll be earning a better paycheck for it than fighting somebody else.

    BINGO!

To use the jab to keep Toney at distance was ideal for Sam Peter......he did'nt do that in his first fight with Toney and Toney was repeatedly countering Peter's rushes.
Thats what Toney does best, he counters overly aggressive fighters like Peter.
Peter was smart to train to work off his jab against the size and style that Toney had, but you're absolutely right, Peter and his camp fell in love with the notion Peter could do this vs the much bigger Heavyweights in the division.
Peter tried to box with Vitali and got dominated.

The only time the jab served Peter well against a big Heavyweight was against McCline, who really just is'nt a good boxer.

You're absolutely right A_D, Peter has to look closely at how he fought Wlad the first go around and duplicate his efforts if he's to have any chance......and I beleive he's got a legit chance to knockout Wlad if he's aggressive and clubs that right hand over the top and follows it up with the hook even in sloppy style the way the old Samuel Peter did.

Fourty how is life treating you my man?

You're probably a nervous wreck by now, I bet. :D
As much **** as I've thrown at Peter in the last few years, I'd like to extend my wishes for him and his family, the man's an addition to the heavyweight division regardless if he's top notch or just below.

Have a nice day man, and hopefully we'll see a good fight, win/lose or draw. :good

Yeah nothing but props for fourty he has always stuck by his man. I hope Peter loses but still unlike that clown from the UK he is willing to get in the ring.
