a pianeta win won't help the division

would be great accomplishment for Pianeta vanquish cancer and become HW Champ vs Klitschko but it won't happen.

Rooting for Pianeta to at least land a couple of punches and make this competitive for a round or two. Not that he can avert the inevitable.

Pretty sure the guys here that want Wlad to lose to Pianetta, want that because that gives "their man" (ea some Brit-bum or Ameri-can) a chance to be called World Champ by beating some undeserving one hit wonder.

If Wlad were to lose, it should be against a deserving guy. Who isn't available atm.

99.9% of the time I'm rooting for the underdog. That goes to 100% when the underdog is a complete nobody and has been plucked from absolute obscurity. Gotta hope the guy can pull off something special and shock Europe.

Surely if you're tuning into this fight you want to see something exciting and dramatic, not just the formality that everyone is expecting?

If he turns up 2 levels above his usual and outboxes/overwhelms Wlad yes.
But we all know that if he wins it would 9 out of 10 times be by major fluke. And unless he fights a complete bum in his next defence, won't be able to defend the belts even once.
And cut Wlad with the shards?

I want that Pianeta shows a good fight and that he dont gets Knocked Out bad. I really believe he can show a good fight. But I dont want that Wladimir gets stopped. I want to see him against Povetkin.

klitschkos are those undeserving guys with all these bull**** fights vs nobodies and all controversies surrounding them. you will see that the day a klit falls the heavywieght boxing will start breathing again. they are much worse than don king who at least gave us some fights to remember.

which one of klits fight you do remember? most of us none except when they lost, meaning they fought someone who could fight back a little

Looks like HW boxing is breathing all right with the K brothers. $23 million purse bid, 60,000 stadium in moscow, $6000 ringside tickets :deal

Nah it's a bit ****. There's very little global interest in the division, not that I particularly blame Wlad for that, but still.

Nobody has cared about his last 3 fights (Pianeta, Thompson, Mormeck) and regardless of who cares, they have been extremely poor opposition.

Povetkin is a much better fight though.
