How so? Aside from that 1st left hook barrage in the 1st round, Mercer still managed to stand up to everything Wlad threw at him just like he did against Lewis.

Also, immediately after that fight Mercer himself said Lewis hits harder. :deal:deal:deal

Maybe a bit faster and more snappy than Lewis but bigger puncher? I dunno. Lennox had very heavy hands, when they hit home it was game over.

I disagree with you. For 4 rounds Lewis was bombing Rahman with almost no return fire. But it was Rahman who threw a perfect punch. You cant compare these two based on one punch or 1 fight. If that was the case, Sven Ottke would be a murderous puncher based on Mundine fight.

You need to watch that fight again, my man. That was a prety evenly contested fight where I believe the Compubox stats were just about identical. Both guys landed some decents shots, but neither was bombing hard on the other on a consistent basis.

Wlad is a big puncher, but when Lennox ko'd someone he put them too sleep. As for Wlad not using an uppercut that's bull****. Both him and Vitali have been using it for awhile. Wlad used it to ko Derrick Jefferson when Jefferson got past Wlad's jab and trying to fight him on the inside. Both Wlad and Vitali have heavy hands, but noticeably moreso Wlad. Vitali is more of a pummeler and doesn't seem to look for the ko as much.

I guess I'll respond. Ray was just being Ray. He knew the commentator wanted him to say Wlad so he said Lennox. Fact is, Wlad knocked Mercer down, lennox never hit him with a shot, so logic tells me Wlad hit Mercer harder than Lennox.:deal Unless Ray slipped.

Mercer was also about 103 years old when he fought Wlad. Perhaps that makes a difference?

I suppose you think James Toney was a bigger puncher than Lennox Lewis too, seeing as Toney could stop Holyfield and Lewis couldn't?

 **** off! Lennox packed far more concussive one-punch power than Wlad. If he ever fought Wlad, it would resemble Lewis-Golota!

Lewis had the better repertoire of punches, but Wlads straight right hand and jab are ATGS (like Lewis').

I can go with that, if we're talking left hooks.

They were almost two different opponents. Lewis fought Mercer in 96 whilst WALDO got to him in 02. Need I explain further?

I guess Danny Williams hit harder than Lewis as well seen as he got rid of Tyson quicker. Actually, didn't Lewis beat Rahman in four whilst WALDO took 7?? :think

Yes, also Audley Harrison hits a lot harder than VITLAY, seeing as he got rid of Danny Williams quicker than VITLAY did :nut

Doesn't it also mean that Haye hits harder than WALDO seen as he beat Barrett quicker?
