Wlad 240.5lb - lightest he's been in years. AJ 250.1lb - heaviest he's been. Almost 10lb weight difference. Thoughts?
Just confirms what everyone already knew. Vlad doesn't fancy knocking AJ out so is going to try an outbox him, whereas if AJ lands flush, it's probably gonna be curtains.
Will be interesting in the latter rounds if it gets there. Calculated move by Wlad to come in the lightest he's been for a long time, drag AJ into deep waters. Can spar 12 rounds, do all the legwork in camp for it, but under the lights and under pressure facing an elite opponent like Wlad, its a different story. Might also give insight to what AJ is planning, overwhelm Wlad early, hold the centre and put it on him. Will be interesting! If Wlad lands early, he'll humble AJ. Wlad needs to dictate the pace early and make sure he's first to land. Or I fear the worst for him.
Let's be real here, AJ can't outbox Wlad as he just doesn't have the toolset. His only chance (a good one) is to stop or knock Klitschko out. Wlad's probably come in light because he plans to fight behind the jab, hit AJ with 1-2's and hug when he gets in close. It's a plan that's worked time and time again and only became unstuck because he fought someone extremely awkward in Fury who has a lot of movement (AJ does not move his head). I'm actually changing my prediction to Wlad by decision.
Vlad looked bigger than AJ although he weighs less and vlad also looks in awesome shape. For someone like Aj who drawz a lot of his confidence by been bigger and stronger than his opp, id like to know whats going through his mind now hes seen how good a shape vlad is in.
Curious to know why everyone harps on about Joshua been juiced when klit at 41 is just as big and shredded just with pale skin that doesn't show muscle as well. He's far more likely to be juiced to the gills.
You dont win boxing matches based on body shape or muscle mass thankfully. Its a good sign that Wlad is lighter than ever- this points to him putting in more aerobic work and being a lot faster. He needs to be fast and he needs to find a cure for his punchitis (inability to pull the trigger) AJ bounces him off the canvas and wins by stoppage
Not saying he's not on anything but Wlads physical shape has barely changed since he turned pro....hes the consumate professional.
