    Come on guy, thats not the way knowledge works. This argument is weak.

    Also, reading this and seeing your picture it seems like you got your whole sense of self-worth in a gym. I hope you are on a health/fitness or athletic endeavour and not trying to build yourself into a mass of muscle out of sheer vanity. The girls will dig the muscles, not so much the vanity, that's their thing;).

    (also for Simpsons fans, remember how teenage roided out Milhouse went crazy?)

    It's a boxing forum dude...I could talk all day about lifts, track, weightlifting, gymnastics & powerlifting. My angle is who gives a **** about what he lifted...he beat Wlad in Germany...so I'm a Fury fan too! Sure i almost fell asleep during the fight :)...but he did it. I'm not doubting your knowledge - it's cool :).

    Have you seen "you don't know bo" 30 for 30? States he didn't do weights. Even if he did...I'm sure the Carl Lewis and Ben Johnson era made it relevant but not Bo I think

    It's easier to lift more with a POOR technique.

    What about in boxing with punching technique? Is there a possibility Wilder has a highly unorthodox but tailored right hand punching technique that is superior to the seemingly optimal techniques? Or is it impossible to generate more power from those weird off balance body movements?

    I know someone personally who weighs approximately 74kg - 162lb and he can deadlift 260kg +.

    So to call Cutthroatfade up on this is a bit moronic.

    Yes someone deadlifting 250kg weighing 160lb isn't common, but there will be thousands of people on the planet capable of this.

    Also, the person I know is not on PEDS.

    If anyone questions this I can happily provide a link to his instagram page where he has videos of this.

    Not going to lie, I don't know.

    But my opinion is that a bad Punching technique, like wilders, would generate more power, no doubt.

    The reason it's a very bad idea is the risk of injury increases dramatically.

    Sorry dude...how many weightlifters competing at the Olympics with a deliberately bad technique lift more? Do the coaches who have been studying science since the 40's tell them to do the opposite of what they have proven?

    I hate being negative but that's not smart at all. How many boxers use bad technique and it's an advantage? Smh...hope you're joking above :)...it's probably the most illogical thing I've read so far on this forum.

    Like the momentum from his off-balance windmilling generates more power than optimal foot placement?
    Deontay is a pioneer…. decades from now heavies will be trying the 'Wilder Windmill' rather than an antiquated 'Ali shuffle'. :lol:

    Did I say it was an advantage? I said it dramatically increases your risk to injury, hardly an advantage.

    Also, if you've ever been to a gym, you would no if you use a PERFECT you won't be lifting as heavy as if you used an imperfect technique.

    I actually laughed out loud...calm down dude. I've been to the gym :).

    Agree to disagree here...I'd put my house on that with proper technique you can lift heavier in deadlifts, bench, squat, cleans & snatch. My opinion and those that are world classes coaches don't teach their athletes to purposely lift wrong lol...sorry I'm literally laughing. Good luck with training!!

    Your being an idiot here.

    Go to the gym, try a 1rm on bench, dl, etc, do it twice, one with a perfect technique and one with any technique you want as long as the weight goes up.

    Perfect technique will be a lighter weight lifted. This is indisputable.

    I don't train for strength pal, I train with a near perfect technique on everything I lift.

    Actually shocked at how stupid your being. The reason 'world class' coaches don't promote a bad technique is because it WILL result in injury, probably severe. Also, the correct muscle groups won't be targeted and thus lifting with a bad technique won't hit they muscle groups needed to make you stronger over time.
