Joshua was wore out and still a bit on unsteady legs in that seventh. You REALLY don't think if Wlad shot a 1-2 to the body.. it wouldn't have ANY effect as powerful a puncher as Wlad is??? You don't think it would catch Joshua off guard and possibly hurt him considering he would have been wary of another right coming up top??

Exactly. While Wlad doesn't shoot a lot of body punches.. he's landed many good ones in the past. The Mercer clip was just one example.

 

He's never gone to the body, I challenge anybody to make a gif montage of more than three punches

People want to wish he goes to the body, but in reality he's hardly gone to the body in any of his fights. You got guys posting videos of the mercer fight ages ago, like that's somehow proof he's a body puncher. Geez.

He could have set it up better but Joshua was definitely looking out for that power punch more than any other.

I still think he can win the rematch. Wlad is a super smart guy, he'll know Joshua's style inside out now and can see where the weaknesses are. He certainly came very close to doing it.
