I don't mind Vitali, he bugs me in some ways but he interests me in others.

Wlad is just hideously boring in every manner, but I guess i respect him for his skill level and success.

I prefer Haye over both of them, so would like to see him inherit the HW division, but I wont go ape**** loving/hating either party.

I do feel the need to point out, though, the the massive klit huggers are a ****ing ANNOYING breed. I understand people having a favorite fighter but these guys just take it to a enw level. i think most of the hatred for the brothers actually is engendered by the hatred for people in their fn base.

If you had a shread of objectivity you's admit that Haye vs. Valuev and Klitschko vs. Johnson were two of the worst, most boring heavweight fights of all time....without and commentary. Fact is, they were. Both fights were a disgrace and all four fighters share in the blame. So, if you want to pretend like you are simply a dispassionate (fairly dull) observer, you'd better hope the other posters are as stupid as you. :patsch

I didn't question Lewis's victory. My intention was to make the OP admit that Lewis - Klitschko was one of the most exciting HW fights of the decade '00 - '10 and and a potential classic in a few decades when Lewis and the Klitschkos are history.

When it comes to boxing. Us Brits let our fists do the talking.

That's why we so love the likes of Calzaghe shutting old man popkins up.

Watching Byrd get battered bloody, Brock getting dropped like a rock, Austin getting KO'd with Wlad's right hand tied behind his back, Thompson crumbling into the canvas, Rahman polishing the mat with his ass, Brewster quiting on his stool so he could still talk to his kids without fear of brain damage, Chagaev flying backwards yeah I can see why the Panty Pissers would find it boring that their Great Hopes have no hope...:yep

Or, having to watch Peter who scored two wins in a row over the GREAT JAMES TONEY get man handled by a 37 year old coming off of 1,400 days inactivity, JCG who can outbox Vitali in phone booth turning his back in the ring while getting KO'd, Arreola crying like a baby yeah I can see why the Panty Pissers would find it boring that their Great Hopes have no hope again :good

Believe me I can completely understand. Like being a Raider fan watching your team get beat every time can certainly get boring :yep :good :hi:

If you want to compare British boxing history with American boxing history, you're going to need a magnifying glass and a much better sense of humor.

Fact is that three natons stand head and shoulder above all other when it comes to success in the squared circle, they are: Mexico, the UK and Puerto Rico. Britain doesn't even warrant a Copper medal. :hi:

..........bottom line LL was behind on cards...........fight stopped , he won by default..........LL promised rematch reneged on promise ...even when 20-30 million was offered ...........made multiplre demands of VK ..."get doctor to ok eye, etc. etc."...............then retired when he could not maneuver out of said re-match....50/50 on who would have won but sadly we as boxing fans will never know and deserve better...!

The only thing that annoys me about this is that fact that the same people (mostly British boxing fans) who defended Lewis's decision to retire and wrote Vitali off because he got in a life and death struggle with a 38 year-old fighter, are now lambasting Vitali for losing a step or two at 39 years old! It's hillarious if you stop and think about it. :nut
