Wlad: “the future of the division belongs to Joshua. I haven’t seen an athlete as athletic, as big, as fast, as talented as Anthony and if he’s going to continue the way he is, developing himself, the future belongs to him.”
I think he is rightly the favourite guy to take over in the next 2yrs. I don't see Tyson Fury even being around then...or if he is he'll have been KO'd at least once and will be not seen anything like the prospect many now see him as. Joshua looks great, as did other up coming prospects did like Tyson (iron mike!) and Lennox etc when coming up they were bombing out their early matches early and always winning in fine style if their opponent did get into the later rounds. People are criticising Joshua for fighting low level opposition...well, he's doing it the same as Tyson and Lewis did when they came up - all fighters start out fighting cans usually for the first 10-15 fights, then gradually move up through the levels. Joshua is being matched sensibly and is doing the job in fine style so far. He will be tested at some point as all fighters are...but I don't see him doing what Wilders handlers have been doing ie try and con the public and have him just keep fighting stiffs to pad out an impressive KO record. I see Joshua going up through the levels and still doing it good and stopping most of his opponents and clearly winning vs those that can last into the later rounds. We need to see how his chin holds up when he does get caught with someone that can hit hard...Im sure he's not packing the same glass as Wilder is suspected to be packing...but we'll see eventually for both of them! Now we know Wlad has sparred Wilder, and he knows about Furry...yet seems to be less impressed to not mention those guys ahead of AJ in the reinging future of the division..!!
He himself said he does. He already stated in another interview he wish he would be Joshua's manager
