Looks like there is a good chance Wlad will fight Arreola in the summer. I give Arreola a shot becuase he fights inside and can take a decent punch. More than likely, a hold fest will take place, but I think Chris can chin check him.
In 2005, Arreola would have had a punchers chance seeing that Sanders KO'ed Wlad. The way he has been fighting since then, Arreola has no chance. Wlad destroys him.

I do not think Wlad has really looked that much better in his last few fights and that is from one of the only people who really predicted him to beat Sam Peter. Vitali is a really good fighter he never would of beat a prime Lewis and just because he won 4 of the first six don't mean he would have won that fight either but he is a really good heavy. I still think Haye has a shot at beating him but I would have preferred Wlay v Haye as that goes to whoever wants it the most imo.
Arreola needs to cut out the burgers and learn how to defend. Do that and it could be interesting. Don't do that, and it's Jabfest 2009 before Wlad starts bouncing right hands off his slow-moving stubby noggin.
People are overestimating Wladimir Klitschko's punching power a little bit. Okay, he's one of the hardest hitters (if not the hardest) today but when was the last time he knocked someone completely out? Like unconscious? Even Hasim Rahman - who many said to have this GLASS JAW - took flush shots from Wlad without going down, until in the 6th round, went down once, got up and was stopped on his feet in the next round.
Arreola needs to lose weight and then I give him a fair chance of beating Wlad. Not sure why no one ever sneaks in a low blow or something just to keep Wlad honest. I never see anyone working the body against Wlad. I honestly believe Wlad is not THAT good....his competition is THAT bad.
I think part of it was like Lennox or Lampley said during the broadcast that Rahman was bracing himself for the punches with his feet wide apart and his hands up by his face. I thought Rahman took several shots well and it might have been he was just prepared to take them.
