He fought the perfect fight given Ibragimov's style. Do I think he could have taken more chances throwing his right? yes. However, he neutralized Sultan's jab the entire fight, scored a legit knockdown in my eyes, and totally outclassed him with his own jab. He wasn't throwing his right as often im guessing because of his trouble with southpaws. He did what he had to do to get the victory. Now we can look forward to Klitschko-Povetkin, or Klitschko-Chagaev

    Smart fight, but lackluster IMO.

    Look forward??? :-(

I'm not wasting my time again watching a "very exciting and perfect boxing fight" like that.

I'd rather pay to watch the replay of "ALI vs JOE frazier" in Manila which I have seen for about 10 times now.

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

If by neutralizing his jab, you mean angrily slapping it down ; then yeah ...I agree. I would have thoought of that as illegal. But you could call it " smart boxing " too, I guess.

I wouldnt call it perfect, Wlad was content just throwing the jab and knew Iggy's skill level wasnt anything early on. The reason Wlad didnt throw the right hand as much, was because he was afraid of getting counterd by Iggy, it was a safe way to fight, so it was perfect in that respect.

I think kimbo slice may knock him out. He would be scared of him and collapse.

To say he fought a smart fight implies that he "fought." i can assure you that as a fan in the crowd he did nothing of the sort.
