Wlad calls out Haye on Sky Sports new "I truly believe he is scared"

Good interview, came across well enough.

Think Haye is waiting to see if Audley passes the doc following his op for his £10m showdown overhere, easy money and then will move on for one of the Klits next year.

Don't think he is scared as such its just that financial rewards offered him for the Harrison fight are beyond what he thought possible and he really has little choice but to take that fight as it will secure his future completely.

Trouble is Harrison is recovering slower than thought and they are waiting to see if he is going to be ok for November but time is running short now.

 

Its clear Haye has no intrest in fighting, at all.

I think Haye is great for the sport but you can't keep calling people out and insulting them and then not sorting the job out...you end up looking a bit daft.

 

When was the last time Haye was interviewed on his home TV station Sky Sports? Kinda ironic Wlad has time to speak to them and Haye doesn't?!

 

Haye has become the heavyweight Mayweather. What a let down.

 

Who cares if he is in fact scared or not as long as it seems like he is scared. Man, on his home station he is called a 'chicken' again, so what rensponse do you expect from a casual fan? You cant think some not a hardcore boxing fan will consider any business point of view here which refers to Hayes brilliance in this field. Im really curious about Hayes response (if it ever comes) and next move. How ridiculous it will look like when he starts being 'media person' again just after both Klits get busy with their next fights... Dunno, mb im just an another biased hater.

Haye wanted a belt - not a Klitschko.

 

I think Haye made a lot of money from the likes of Valuev and Ruiz fights, and now with his wife and his kid he's really had a real change of heart and he doesn't want to get his head smashed in by Wladimir Klitschko.

Haye's a clever guy, and still has his looks and faculties and can speak ok. And he's got a family to think about. He's already rich, and he's thinking why should he get beaten up by a far superior fighter for money and pride when he can just go fight someone else for big money, and to hell with macho pride.

Haye's no warrior. He's a businessman and a family man, and he's probably got plans for after boxing.
Wladimir would destroy him.

i do still think there's a chance Haye could accept a fight with Vitali, and a chance he could even win that. Because Vitali is washed-up now, an old man.
Maybe Haye waits for Wlad to show signs of being washed-up, but it could still be another year or two, or three, before that's certain.

 

I wonder if Haye was surprised at how much Ruiz hurt him and is muh less confident about being able to take Klitschko power now.

That and the fact that money and celebrity seems to have eaten away at his appetite for the sport.

 

What a tedious thread. Is this really worth bringing up again so that people can parrot that Haye ducked and then some massive debate about purse splits, TV rights and Haye’s heart begins and everyone becomes an expert on contracts and contract law again?

 

As a big haye fan i must agree with alot of these points. But When did Ruiz ever hurt Haye?

 

One doesn't have to be an expert on contract law or know anything about it at all. If someone spouts off about this and that and then for months and months afterwards shows absolutely no sign of doing anything about it, they start to look foolish.

I think Haye's great but he's made himself look daft in this regard.

 

Haye must be thinking why fight the Klitschko's while his marketability is sky rocketed. Unfortunately as someone else said he has become the Mayweather of the Heavyweight division.
