I predict Haye will fight Harrison this year and go for one of the Klits next year, i just hope that he does not avoid them and not fight them at all, he says he wants to unify the divison and plans to retire by 31, he needs to up his game and get the fights sorted.

You defend Floyd for the very things you criticise Haye over. He’d no right or grounds to ask for the testing. Manny agreed to his original 14-day demand and then, what a surprise, Floyd changed his demands oh, and he bumped up the purse split. The man is a total ****.

And the PPV numbers for the last fights are misleading. Mayweather faced a better known fighter than Manny did, so naturally got bigger numbers. But they were similar to Manny’s against Cotto.

People who are just accepting this are ridiculous. If he used Wlad purely as marketing then that is a joke. He booked a fight with Wlad and pulled out 2 weeks prior. So was that marketing? What sort of **** gets fans to buy tickets, book hotels etc only to pull out! A **** like that shouldn't earn a penny in this sport.

 

Apparently Bernie Hoppo wants to step up and fight haye for the heavy weight title of the world !

As I said haye is a clever business man ! ...he will fight possibly in vegas against an all time american great ...this fight will be hyped beyond belief as Hoppo goes for a 3rd weight world title ... it will sell vast numbers on PPV and give haye full exposure to the american public !

haye will then win this fight by KO imo and be big box office stateside ... then the Klits in the states with massive PPV numbers ....

Achilles, I agree. But there's nothing I can do about it, so I stopped whining ages ago.

 

wasnt that due to the collapse of setanta ?.... setanta went into administration which means Haye wouldnt have got paid until the administrator decided what % in the £ he was due ..... i maybe wrong but im sure setanta went into administration around the time the fight collapsed ...

 

they did, he injured his back at the same time. He used the back injury as a way to break the contract legally, but he'd have been paid nothing for fighting Wlad. Can you blame him for backing out?

If I turned up at work one day and was told I'd still need to do my job for the client and make them millions, but they weren't going to pay me - I wouldn't.

 

Yup I would do exactly the same as haye ...so wasnt really a mktg stunt ! just very bad timing ..... some people seem very anti Haye which is typically British when we actually have a world heavy weight champion ! .... he will fight Hopkins next if we can believe what the executioner has to say ! ....
