yeah, internet boxing fans are meaningless little nasty people who need to release their frustrations. Who would care about what those frustrated kids have to say. The noble fans that are respected by sportsmen are those in front of TV or attending events.

 

Of course, my mistake, now we are ridiculing him, none of us would be interested in the fight next year would we?

This wouldn't build more anticipation or heighten excitement, it means none of us give a **** anymore and definitely wouldn't go to the show or buy the PPV.

Seriously, Haye and Booth are intelligent men.
They've probably sat down and had a good talk and come to the conclusion that Haye cannot beat Wladimir, just like any intelligent man would.
They should definitely consider the idea of taking on Vitali though.

 

I agree with almost everything that unforgiven said on the first page.

I believe that Haye DOES eventually want to fight a Klitschko brother but he is not confident about winning. I think Haye feels that if he were to fight a Klitschko now, he would most likely lose, and future paydays would shrink. If he waits for the Klits to get older (I believe that Vitali is the one Haye would prefer), he has a better chance of winning, still gets a huge payday, and can get other paydays in the meantime against easier opponents. Of course this is smart business but what bugs me is that this is a boxing forum and not a business forum. We're talking about legacy here, and Haye is sacrificing that in order to be a better businessman. That's his choice but action and legacy is what should matter to US as boxing fans. Why praise his moves as if he's doing a good thing? Criticism he gets from boxing fans is deserved because there was a time when boxers fought for legacy as well as for money. What do we want as boxing fans? Do we want Haye to do what's best for his bank balance or do we wanna see a ****in fight? Damnitt.
