Its more moronic to think having a moan on a boxing forum is going to fundamentally change how the sport works or do you think we should start a "We want Haye-Wlad" FaceBook group to sort his mess out?

Its even got past the point where "real" boxing fans are paying the bulk of Hayes wages, the casual or general sports fan are paying Haye now. Thats why the Harrison fight is considered a "goer".

Are you not able to follow this thread or something? I was replying to a poster who said that the Klits are too big for Haye, where do I say Haye used it as an excuse?

You need comprehension lessons Cocker. You wrote "The Klitschkos size advantageis no excuse for Haye not fighting them."...the implication being that Haye is using this as an excuse :thumbsup

In fairness, whether this is the real reason or not Haye isnt going to come out and say "hey guys about that decapitated poster thing, I have been thinking those Klit bros are too big for me I aint going there but I hope you continue buying my PPVs......":nut

Read between the lines what you what - most people on here are just pissed off at Haye for his hypocrisy - knock yourself out. I made my own inferences.

PS. Whoever said the Klits are good talkers etc - did you not see the "Haye beeched out" video - that was some (unintentional) hilarious ****

You are a genuine fan. You're getting emotional over this, but generally you don't. You love the sport first, the fighters second I'd say from what I can tell. Most peeps on the Brit forum are genuine fans.

It's the psychos on the GF that terrify me.

so what your saying is when Booth, Munroe and Burns go for alphabet titles in a few months its pretty much meaningless......i agree i just wish everyone would follow the same tune. for me theres not british world champions. If they want to become one they need to beat Wladmir Klitscko, Chad Dawson, Sergio Martinez, Chris John, Pongsalek Wongjongkam or Ivan Calderon.

I hate how Haye gets called a 'great businessman'. Great businessman? Richard Branson is a great businessman, Bill Gates is a great businessman- David Haye is just a boxer who chooses to avoid fighting better boxers in case he loses

Yes, but with that you have to accept when a fighter let's you down and re-evaluate them. Stop looking for answers, move on, if something does happen you'll be surprised and elated.

Until then, Middleweight is hotting up, we have a big domestic show that might get through fairly unscathed, two super bantams going for ABC straps (more importantly facing very good opposition) Burns Vs Martinez, GBP prmosing to put on more good undercard, maybe Martinez-Williams II, Calderon Vs Segura....there are still plenty of things to get excited about.

Okay, a few massive things have not come off. It happens. It shouldn't but it does. So get used to it or allow it to push you away. A drop of sand in the ocean, and I really like/appreciate Achilles and Robs MASSIVE co tribution to this forum.

But all these Haye-Klitschko threads became as tedious as the actual negotiations ages ago.

i really disagree with this point. i think you still need to capture the interest of the hardcore fan before you can get to the general public. they still need to hear from the boxing fan that they know from work or the pub thats its gonna be an exciting or worthwhile fight.

Hatton vs Mayweather, Haye vs Valuev both had hardcore fans excited which got the public excited. also the sports journos know its a bull**** fight......you cant sell a fight to the public on the fact its a big event, the action needs to be there to.

Like Haye-Valuev, Haye-Ruiz, Hatton-Lascano? Not many "hardcore" fans thought they were decent fights but they all did great business.

Once a fighter has got past a certain level, he needs the "real" fans less and less. Haye is at (or very close to) that level.

Haye needs to sort out a fight with one of the brothers sooner rather than later. I dont think the fans will be happy if he doesnt fight one of the brothers in his next 2 fights or even his next fight. I am surprised Haye hasnt come out and responed to the brothers but I honestly feel that Haye against the younger brother Haye will get the better of him and KOing him late in the fight. He must have some sort of fight sorted out in the coming weeks but I am slowly begining to be pissed of with how slow a fight with one of the brothers has taken. Like Pac and Money I get a feeling this fight may not happen.
