HBO better be showing this fight... I was hanging with them just for the Haye-Wlad match.
C'mon HBO show it, or I cancel..

    HBO was okay with BREWSTER?

He quit on the stool of their last fight! Wlad pummeled him!
And they want to go with that, rather than a unification bout?

    Doesn't make sense . . .

I know what you mean. I was debating over the last week, if I should subscribe yet, or wait until the fight was closer.

GOOD THING I DECIDED TO WAIT!

HBO flat out said..QUOTE: "Fight Haye or we pull the plug"...that sounds like telling someone who to fight if you ask me

Yes he can fight whomever he wants..but HBO has no right to say that about Haye.. Haye is gone, done...what they said above was when the word came down that Haye will be ready in 3 weeks...HBO pushed HARD....its bull****

We should call and threaten to cancel if they don't show the fight.

HBO is a business. If they thought Wlad vs Chagaev was a good business move, they would show the fight. But, all evidence points to a soozefest that will turn viewers away. It's a waste of the cash HBO has budgeted for boxing.
There is no need to knock HBO. After all, Home Box Office is awesome. Not only do they bring us the best boxing coverage in the world, they also provide us with hit movies every Saturday night. Movies like Get Smart, starring the delightful Anne Hathaway, or Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, the Dark Knight, Kung Fu Panda, Harold and Kumar Do Stuff, and much much more. If that's not enough HBO has critically acclaimed dramas like the Entourage and True Blood. It's not TV, it's HBO.

This might be the most difficult fight for Klitschko out there. Chagaev has a very good chin, good power, and fantastic skills. He is MUCH more dangerous than Haye and he is a southpaw like Corrie Sanders. Still I think that Wlad will have enough to win a very tough fight in which both men will have their moments.

The other thing about Chagaev is that he's notoriously hard to hit with a tall jab and because of that, he's usually better against tall opponents- he can bob underneath and work his way inside. He's also used his entire training camp to prepare for a taller opponent (although I'm definitely not suggesting Valuev is near Wlad's league), while Wlad's been training for an entirely different kind of opponent. This isn't going to be a walk-over match for Wlad, and he deserves credit if he wins. Props to both guys for taking this kind of match on 2 and a half weeks notice, though. It's one of the most important matchups out there for the division. I like you're prediction of a late stoppage for Wlad, but it's not going to be a walk in the park getting there.

If Chagaev is really in good shape like he says then he would cause Wlad problems and has a good chance to win. He moves around the ring, has head movement (unlike mose european fighters out there), and also has good power to keep Wlad cautious.
