Yes he is, who's better then Chambers? Arreola, Thompson, Toney, Johnson? They all SUCK compared to Chambers. The difference between Chambers and the rest of the American heavyweights is that he's hyped, he is the REAL DEAL.

Edit: Oh you said the best boxer in America, well I would rank Ward , Mayweather, and Dawson ahead of Chambers but that's about it. But if Chambers beats W.Klitschko he should be ranked above Dawson.

 

I feel pretty much the same way. Chambers at this time is by far the #1 American Heavyweight.

 

Paul Williams, Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosley, Timothy Bradley all come to mind.

Also I didn't say best boxer (Chambers boxing abilities are very very good), I said best fighter.

I like Chambers and his boxing skills. His win over Dimitrenko was great. Props to him :thumbsup

But Wlad will win by KO because of his superior boxing skills, it is not about size.

It will be good to see two skilled heavweights in the ring!
