    It's called a budget. HBO had some leftover dough at the end of 2009 and they loved the Vitali-Arreola ratings, so they bought the fight.

    The only reason you saw the VKlit-Johnson fight on HBO was because Pavlik backed out of the Williams fight. Simple as that.

    THats what i don't get? HBO seems to only be intrested in a fight of wald only if it's against David Haye. and now especialy since he's co promoted by GBP. TBH Wlad is more exciting to me then Vitali as Wlad usally tends to put his opponets to Slepp with Power

    HBO hates Euro fighters and always have, but Vlad is the IBF, WBO, IBO, Ring Mag. Champion and gold medalist! Vitali former WBO/WBC and current WBC champion, they are in the record books.

    Well they lost Mosely vs Berto so they could of picked it up. also they got alot of cash coming in this year with the PBF vs SM fight

    Vlad/Chambers fight is superior fight to so many of their other fights. Vlad is champion Vs. #1 American Heavyweight. Arreola/Minto was???????????

    not looking good so far. No final decision yet. HBO says they have "No Cash" I bet they will show some bull**** Arreola fight since thats there boy. Chambers is the best American fighter at this time and HBO wont step up.... what bull**** Espn is still in the hunt.

    I still wonder why GBP has such an inside with HBO most of their fights last year on hbo were pathetic. Do the have some kind of dirt on hbo's president or something?

    When you say "not looking good so far", did you mean for HBO and ESPN, or also PPV?

    I really don't care what channel I have to turn to, and I don't care to pay, just as long as us here in the US can see it.

    Ya, I can't believe HBO isn't picking this fight up...one of the best heavyweight match ups (Chambers is actually deserving, unlike some of those BS mandatory challengers in the past pushed by DK) to come along in awhile. What a shame.

    Remember the Thomas Hauser article a few months back? HBO has most of their cash and fight dates tied up with Golden Boy until 2011. How on earth can they be out of cash and it is only Feb?

    So you will continue to see fighters like Victor Ortiz forced down our throats even though his is a Glass Jawed quitter. What a disgrace.
