Well he's a defensive boxer. He's like Chris Byrd but with a different style and he has more pop in his punches. His style depends on speed, making boxers miss, and looking for opportunties to counter-punch. He's capable of ducking, slipping, and counter-punching for 12 rounds. Can he do it against Wladimir? We'll see.

Really? I thought the Thomson fight was awful after about round 3.
Thomson stood dead still, with his gloves as ear muffs, and Wlad just did bugger all until about the last 2 rounds.

Thomson did nothing after landing a couple of body shots early. Absolutely nothing.
