Tell that to Ali's This content is protected clinches in the "Match OF The Century" against Frazier dealdealdeal
So you don't deny the rumors! Those horrible things you did to Tom Cruise while he was asleep? I know you probably thought he was asking for it..but that is a violation anyway you cut it. That's rich coming from you, Mr. Travolta, nobody takes you seriously anymore, maybe after Pulp Fiction... but than you come out with Swordfish with that stupid facial hair, effeminate lisp, and queen mannerisms and never looked back.....I don't even want to talk about Battlefield Earth.
Now, seriously, i've quit watching Hollywood crepola a long, long time ago. So i have no idea what Travolta is up to ( not that i care either). You go and entertain yourself as it pleases you.:hi:
Ward is the worst when it comes to clinching, grabbing, and headbutting but it is ok when he does it. Same when Hopkins would throw 15 punches a round and clinch, grab, wrestle, hug, headbutt, fake low blows, etc it was called 'crafty' and being a 'veteran' :rofl People would come on here and say he put on a 'masterclass' when the fight was as boring as all get out because of his tactics. There are clear double standards on here.
Average clinch time of 10 seconds? Where did you learn to count? There aren't many clinches in boxing that last 10 full seconds. Let alone... that be the average.
WM, That's the time, between, the clinch, ref stepping in, separating them, and then saying "box".. no the actual clinch, as in hugging for 10 seconds.. come on man.
You was wrong you should stfu for once. You say Wlad will lose, he win, Jennings lose, you was wrong, so alteast give Wlad credit, but like Dino you are pure hater. In the first round there was 2 clinches. If Jennings didnt head lunge, clinches would be a lot smaller. And no way they clinched every 10 sec.
That makes more sense. :good However, you have to realize the dynamics of a bigger man like Wlad, fighting against a shorter opponent who dives in... as they all do. Wlad really doesn't have a choice, other than running, and constantly circling. In order to stand his ground, the fight is bound to end up with clinching. It's certainly nothing new to the boxing world. Guys like Ali and Lewis clinched quite a bit as well. It's a smart tactical move. If you noticed... even when Wlad was holding his arms up, to show the ref that he isn't holding him, Jennings would stay in the same clinched position. That's because his opponents know that is the only safe place... up against Wlad in the clinch. I'm not saying that Wlad never clinches, of course he does... as do most great technical boxers. However, his opponents initiate the clinching just as much as Wlad when they fight. If he isn't reaching for them, they are diving into his chest and grabbing on as well.... or diving into him and forcing him to grab on as their bodies collide.
I did say Wlad won, and I scored it for Wlad.. I did think Jennings was going to win, and was rooting for Jennings. He lost the fight. No excuses on him loosing. My issue is with Wlad clinching and boring style. I didn't say he clinched every 10 seconds. I never said that.
