This is absolutely spot on, Haye would've flattened that clumsy oaf in Fury had they fought back in 2013. I think with the injuires Haye suffered, and him not having the desire to fight anymore is ultimately why that fight didn't happen. Now with Joshua, he already gave Fury trouble in sparring and has improved a lot since then. So if they ever met, KO easily IMO. Too bad we won't see it because like Haye after he got beat up by Wlad, he really didn't want to continue on anymore.
I would have had Haye as my favorite as well, but he shat his pants and ran away. He got scared of Fury.
I dont think it was fear, it was more about desire. After injuries and knowing he had his shot against Wlad and blew, he was probably like why should I continue. Fury was so lucky, and is lucky to have fought no one good for this long while talking all this garbage he has over these last 4 years.
He'll retire and never be heard from again, unless Eddie Hearn pays him a boatload of money to fight Joshua on british PPV where he gets KO'ed by someone with devestaing power.
The only half decent young heavyweight Haye ever KO'd was Chisora, a short guy who came right at him. Everyone else he ever beat at HW was completely awful and washed up. Joshua has done nothing. Deserves no further comment. So .... as bad as Fury is, maybe he's good enough to not get KO'd by those guys, who are all hype too, as things stand.
How bad will fury look if he loses? He's claimed wlad is rubbish and he'll retire if he can't beat him. Fury is going to look like such a plank.
I agree Haye himself was overrated but he was a better fighter than Fury IMO. Also though, Haye looked much better against Chisora then Fury had. Joshua hasn't been tested yet, but anyone who looks at him and the way he fights and comes away not impressed hasn't got a clue.
I think he will, Fury went down against a CW. How do you think he'll be against the powerful straight right of Wlad? I've been waiting so long to finally see this douche to get whats coming to him.
Fury will look like a goof yes, but hes a 1:4 underdog. Everyone with a brain expects him to lose in spectacular fashion. If Fury makes this even only a tiny bit competitive then he will come out a winner -- even if he loses.
