39 in this day in age for boxers is not bad for guys who keep their body in shape, put in the work and live a healthy lifestyle. Fighting at a high level is not out of the question.
Where did you get the idea I was a Fury fan? I've been following boxing long enogh that if a massive underdog does just a tiny bit more than fall over like a tomato can then he will get respect from fans. If Fury puts on a Jennings performance (respectable 12 round loss) watch this forum go into a Fury lovefest mode.
Yes, that's why Wlad is still champion. But it can't last forever. One day he will get in the ring and the bell will ring and he will feel old and fight old.
Ya but according to Fury if he can't beat Wlad, he will more than likely to retire. Also he said he doesn't want this fight to go to the scorecards, because he's coming to KO Wlad or get KO'ed. So if it does go to the scorecards and Fury doesn't go out in his shield, he'll have major egg on his face especilally if he comes out of the fight with excuses.
That may happen especially if he fights someone as talented as I think Anthony Joshua is, but this division is filled with bums or limited fighters who still can't reach Wlads level.
I like The Villian, but he just doesn't have the tools to bother Joshua IMO. He didn't even look that good against his last opponant. To me Joshua's talent goes beyond the domestic level that Whyte is at.
Cmon everyone knows Fury is a complete nuthead and idiot. Whatever he says no one cares about. How many times did he already announce his retirement on twitter? I actually think after he loses to Wlad Fury will go into a depressive period in his life and balloon up to 350 lbs. Probably won't fight for 2 years until he runs out of cash.
But why would anyone give him credit? When he himself is saying he shouldn't ge any. I actually have more respect for him by him saying that. Also if he comes back, he'll likely lose very quickly. He's not someone I think though cares enough to come back.
Pulev, Price, Thompson, Teper, Ustinov and Pvetkin would have also knocked out Tyson Fury with ease.. but Fury knew that very well, so he ducked all of them :deal
