If you dont like Wlad then you have many resons to dislike his performance. so dont watch him figh. But to those who like Klitschko I think you will agree with me that he did a very fine job. Thomson was very defensive and hard to hit. Klitschko threw alot of right hands already in the 1st round. Go Wlad:happy :happy
thompson has the classic hard-to-beat-looking-good style of the slick left handed boxer... tony did good in the early going but eventually wlad broke his will with the straight rights and wlad was in great condition all the rounds and beat tony in every round....
I think he did good. Though I don't think Tony's defense was anything to write home about. He did handle Wlad's shots well though. I know lots of people are going to be bashing Wlad..but really..that happens after all his fights. You think people would know what to expect by now :think. I enjoyed the fight. Looking forward to Klitschko -vs- Povetkin. Then Klitschko -vs- Tua better happen :bart!
You're joking, right? He stood in front of Wlad like a statue, just waiting to get whacked. Thompson was very poor indeed, and there was no reason for Wlad to look so awful. In the end, Thompson was just begging for Wlad to do him a favour, but the penny never dropped. Any longer and he would have thrown himself to the canvas.
he did put up his hands and blocked alot of shots well.. wlad dominated everyround and ko'd tony w/ a perfect straight right, what about that was awful??
he threw alot of right hands and that was mainly it. Good fight but I would have loved to seen more combos.
