Actually Sanders ducked Wlad. He dropped the WBO belt and refused to honor the options he had with Wlad's promoter. That's a fact and documented in a court case as Sanders was sued by Universum.

 

sanders may have dropped the belt, but he didn't duck wlad, he was after a bigger match for a more valid title. Sanders was always open to fight wlad after vitali,but it was wlad who didn't want the rematch.

this is the only true duck of wlad, apart from when journeyman ross purity destroyed him, come on you should be happy with that.

So no, Sanders was not "open to fight Wlad". He refused to fight for Universum.
