If david haye wins (big big IF), lets say, by a close UD, in not a particularly exciting fight: What will your opinion on him (haye) be?
i disrespect haye at the moment as a heavy champion but certainly i will positively change my opinion about him if he hold on for 12 rounds or win so i will change about wlad if he is unable to brake china glass of haye
Great Heaviweight who was underestimated before by me and many others, top 10 P4P, number 2 in HW divison
Certainly a points victory would make me admit I was wrong about him all along. And I will recognize him as the #1 HW in the world. If it's not in an exciting bout like you say, or even a stinker, I will certainly hold that against him. Because at that point Haye would have a 75% boring/stinker ratio in HW titlefights. Whatever happens, I would never ever be a fan of him.
Nr1 placed heavy (although still 2nd best to Vitali as Wlad is to me right now) And a top p4p fighter. Id still think hed be a obnoxious douchebag though and if he does plan to retire it would be the worst thing possible for the division.
I don't know about anybody else, but it is fight time yet? All these threads are seriously getting old. There's nothing new to talk about with this fight at all and won't be unless someone pulls out. Time for a fight, nine more miserable days. BTW, if Haye wins, good for him. Its a fight he should be in there trying to win. If these guys both act like pussies in there we should ban them both for life. Enough running and enough grabbing, fight like you earn your money!
As it always is/was.. A good Heavyweigt with great athleticism and decent skills.. A guy who can beat any fighter at any given night..
Ill consider him as rising Star btw. I don't think its possible to UD Vlad by Haye. Maximum early KO within 3 rounds. And yeah.. Haye has those tools to KO anybody.
I already consider Haye to the real deal, and by beating Wlad he would just prove it once more. Actually, the abillity of Haye is obvious and well proven. The questionmark is if Wlad has overcome his old weaknesses, displayed especially in the fight against Sanders. If he has, that means he has become close to unbeatable.
