How much of what went on before the fight altered what happened in the fight?

Things like...

Fury wasnt happy with the gloves and I think he got those changed.
Fury wasnt happy with the ring canvas and said the fight would be off if the situation wasnt sorted (rightfully in my opinion), to get the foam removed
Fury seemingly full of belief before and during
Fury showing no fear of Wlad
Furys mind games about the sauna story

Do you think any of this had an effect on Wladimir?


For the record I picked Fury on points as shown in my prediction thread before the ring problems came to light, but it was not for the reasons I mentioned here which are a bit more of an after thought

 

I dont think that was the case.
Wlad doesnt seem to throw the right hand unless he can land the double jab first. Fury being a mover prevented Wlad from setting himself and was bigger than other opponents who could be lent on.
Consider the current top 10 and how many Wlad has beaten and consider also that in 6 fights Wlad had leading up to fury that 5 of them were undefeated HWs

 

Interesting

 

Fury mentioned a story about he was in a sauna with Wlad at the same time when he was a novice pro, but that he out lasted Wlad in the sauna and that he was prepared to stay in there for as long as it took to beat Wlad
