B.S. Wlad has a decent enough chance against everybody on the list. If he wins - it will be an ugly affair, with jabbing, running and holding, but whatever all the old timer **** suckers say, he is good enough.

Ibragimov has angles, speed and footwork. Beating him the way Wlad did is pretty much the only sure-fire method. And this game is about beeing sure, not about pleasing some beer-sipping fat armchair "experts".

How can a guy who perfected sitting on the ropes taking punishment be called a *****?

A ***** is someone who's fighting a tubby little guy half a foot smaller than him, there for the taking and he's relucant to hit him with anything other than the odd jab.

Obviously Wlad isn't a ***** and I wouldn't call him a ***** to his face either!! But, he reminded me of Audley Harrison last night, both are relucant to get into a range where they could be hit. If Wlad fought like this against any great his hesitancy would see him get sparked. I mean, at times he was getting backed up by SI!!

wlad hasn't been touched with a meaningful punch in 2.5 years yet he is a bum. get the hell out of here with that **** :rofl

ok. i dont see any wlad nuthuggers claiming he is an atg. yet the haters claim thats why they hate him. wlad is not an atg as of yet but yesterday's performance was another solid win. give him some time and lets see what happens.

***** is somebody pontificating about fighting a former silver medalist (who was robbed against Savon), an undefeated belt-holder who just run his way around a murderous puncher in Briggs.

Patterson, would have been ko'd by Wlad,he was a small HW even then.
    Charles too, possibly.

You can stick a fork in Briggs, he's done.

It was clear after a few rounds that this "former silver medalist (who was robbed against Savon), an undefeated belt-holder who just run his way around a murderous puncher in Briggs" was out of his depth and there to be beat convincingly....but no, Wlad wouldn't even get into punching range with him and allowed himself to be backed up.

Holmes stands a much better chance than small Heavies and natural Light Heavies like Charles, Patterson, Walcott, and Louis. A few others as well. I'd easily favor him over Wlad.

I think your underrating him,Patterson would win,but Holmes might lose?
    I think thats mad.
Splitting fights with Johansson and getting battered by Liston twice makes him better than Holmes? How?

Thank you for confirming my point. Had you been in the ring with Iggy trying to get him?

We do not know how easy it is to beat Ibragimov. Nobody but Wlad has done it so far. The fact that he has done it decisively and in a safe manner is a plus in my books, not a minus.

This sport is about winning. For spectacular "moves" please watch WWF.

So I can't judge a fight, because I've never been in the ring with one of the fighters? :rofl

It's an entertainment business, obviously the result is massively important too. If everybody fought like Wlad, nobody would watch boxing.

    "Brawl with Peter" :yikes

Klitschko was absolutely terrified of Peter and did nothing but hold and spoil, jab and grab, all night long, yet still managed to get planted 3 times.

With a different referee (who would either take points from Klit for holding, or allow Peter to fight instead of instantly breaking) Wlad would likely have been knocked out. There's a good chance he will if he fights Peter again.

Sure you can. Just inject a necessary dose of humility when offering an opinion.
