I can see you're unfamiliar with Wlad's early work.

Those are the type of numbers Louis & Holmes had, to their credit.

WK is a multi millionare, speaks many languages, holds a doctorate in sports science and the ladies dig him.

He fights now because he wants to, not because he needs to. He has plenty of "ballz" or he wouldn't have gotten up from those Sanders knockdowns.

    Wlad is a killer though

he wins every round dominates takes away all of your tools and systematically jabs you and then finishes the fight more often than not

he was more aggressive and put guys away sooner back then but i think his Brewster fight really taught him a lesson

he tried to finish a guy who was hurt but not done and gassed, i think he realized its possible and only goes for the KO when he knows the guy is done and does it in a way where he burns the least energy

the guy has gassed 2 times in fights he had in the bank, i can understand why he is more passive that and he got blitzed in 2 rounds i understand the caution early in fights

Yeah Wlad has the tools to be a killer. Lack of recent noteworthy
competition, and he has no flash in his style or personality.
Hard to be a killer when your fights arent televised in the USA.
But seriously skill wise hes a beast.

He doesn't come out to squash a bug within seconds. He puts it in a jar and slowly tortures it.

Fine with me if you hate him. Dude's alright with me. Even if it's not a quick KO he does eventually get the stoppage most of the time. I can't stand someone who fights like John Ruiz

I was being genuine. Skill wise hes a killer. I like
Your bug analogy. I mean Wlad thomson 2
should be on HBO or showtime. I thought
Chagaev had a chance and Wlad out on a clinic.
I thought chambers would make it competitive
Manny had me cracking up he pushed Wlad to
go for the ko, and he kos him with 5the seconds
left. Criticism hes got some fear in the ring.
you gotta be fearless to be a true junkyard
dog killer type. Nevertheless Im expecting
    A WladKO next fight.

just posetd this in a nother thread but relates to this post:

I actually miss pre manny wlad.....without manny he would have had a short career though! but i loved watching that Wlad, he was beast and despite his chin issues when a guy with that amount of power and ability comes at you looking to knock your head off he usually succeeds unless it's against someone with a chin like Tua's or someone who just manages to cold **** him, stun him and then finish strong. That wlad was exciting (Jeffeson KO anyone??).....todays wlad is boring as **** but far less likely get caught. He traded excitement for longevity and a long reing.....i ain't mad at him for it, anyone would do the same but still early 2000's Wlad was a killer and great to watch! Sad thing is the jokers in todays heavy divison wouldn't touch the old Wlad and if Wlad decided to revert to taking out guys early he could do it, now we get to see him jab at keep his distance for 11 rounds vs dudes he could KO in 1.

the main tool he and his brother has are their brains... they dont give a **** who thinks what....they are champions who are elite business men ....they dont take chances because that doesnt make good business sense...they have learned from past mistakes...they dont get fat or use drugs or come in out of shape (not good business sense)they are not in the headlines for getting in trouble, they dont go to jail, they have a plan laid out and they are beyond rich and successful and have quite a collection of belts...
fan friendly or not, the goal of a boxing match is to win... and winning ugly is alot better in my book than losing ugly....

Boxing is a sport and not to be a killer.

Wlad is a boxer and he fight very smart. This is the reason of his long and good career. And his winning will continue untile Wlad decide to retire.
