Oh I expect he'll do better than Charles Martin,I saw a few vid of Martin before he fought AJ and all I could see was arm punches,Wlad I expect will still have some power if he can pull the trigger?
He's definitely regressed, but he still may have enough left in the tank for a few good ones. A quick look at the current HW scene: Wilder: Glass chin, got clowned by Wlad in sparring. Wlad could still beat him. AJ: Very powerful. Very green, too. Wlad could take him to deep waters and pop his cherry. Parker: Useful HW but a bit rough around the edges. I don't see anything that says Wlad couldn't beat him. Povetkin: Looking good lately. Also may be on the sauce. However, Wlad completely dominated him before, and could still pip him imho. Ortiz: Hard hitting, yes. But can he take it? Again, I don't see anything that says Wlad couldn't beat him. Fury: Awkward style for Wlad, who likes to set up his attacks. However, let's note that when Klitschko DID let his hands fly, he had success. Basically the HW scene at the moment is mostly younger guys that are still reaching their potential and some old warhorses on the way out. If Wlad can line up some big names, he could end his career with a bang. But he's got to do it soon, before they mature and he gets even older.
Gut feeling is this will be a short fight in Joshuas favour. AJ will start very carefully but i think the few times they throw it will soon dawn on Joshua that Wlad cant establish control via his jaba and that he seems to have the faster hands and is beating Wlad to the punch so will pick up the pace and do the job by the 5th. Other than that and Tyson Fury ofcourse im not sure anybody else in the division could definatly beat even this aging Klitchko.
