    Fun topic!

    W Feb M. Tyson 37-0
-Tyson was a mental mess and about to lose to Douglas

W Jul B. Douglas 29-4-1 (added as he was due the shot in Feb)

    W Nov E. Holyfield 24-0
-Evander brings the wrong game plan, pushes Wlad but takes too much punishment.

    1991

    W April G. Foreman 69-2

    W Nov B. Cooper 26-7

    1992

    W June L. Holmes 54-3

    L Nov R. Bowe 31-0
Just so motivated and would not be denied on this night.

    1993 (Change to Bowe opponents)

    W Feb M. Dokes 50-3-2

    W May J. Ferguson 19-9

    L Nov E. Holyfield II 29-1
-With Steward, Evander gets revenge, boxes smarter and edges a decision.

    1994

    W Feb M. Moorer 35-0

    W Nov G. Foreman II 72-4

    1995

    W April A. Schulz 21-1-1

    W July O. McCall 26-5

    W Sep F. Bruno 39-4

    1996

    W March M. Tyson 43-1

    W Sep B. Seldon 33-3

    W Nov E. Holyfield III 32-3
-Evander doesn't have the bounce and stamina to box with Wlad anymore, loses the Trilogy by decision.

    1997

    L Feb L. Lewis 29-1
-Wlad is slowing down and Lewis is peaking under Steward.

    16-3.

He loses to 37-0 Tyson, pre Douglas.
    And loses to 24-1 Lewis.

Essentially, the very first title fight of that period, and very last title fight of that period.

Not bad, losing to 2 fellow ATG, Lewis being the GOAT, and the prime, preDouglas Tyson who was tipped to be the GOAT before that loss.

No version of Holyfield, Bowe, Foreman, or Holmes beats current Wlad.

So, essentially, he'd have wins over 3 top 15 ATGs, losses to 2, and another 2 wins over top 50 ATGs at HW in Bowe and Moorer.

Not bad, but I don't think it would elevate him historically.

Considering this thread is a little over a year old, and Wlad has made 2 more defenses since.....it wouldn't put Wlad above top 5 ATG by adding 40+ y/o Holmes and Foreman, one dimensional punch bag Bowe, and tiny HWs in Moorer and Holyfield.

Losing to Tyson and Lewis wouldnt drop him below top 5, considering he'd sweep the board aside from those 2.

LMAO, so this era is weaker based on fantasy boxing?

Everything evolves over time, boxing is no exception.

Also, Klitschkos have never lost on points, so anyone saying they lose to a certain fighter by decision are delusional.

why, have they beaten anyone really good on points, or at all?

the delusion is yours to pretend their wins equate to beating anyonein history.

Yeah but probably no boxer in history could go through that lot without losing. Not like anyone in that era dtayed lineal champ without being beaten. Is this era eeaker yes but he has still dominated it.

He didn't get the belt from Chagaev (though he should have)....he got it from Haye.

Bottom line. Nobody bests Wlad except maybe Ali, Foreman but probably not, Tyson if he can even reach Wlad's chin with his short arms and 8 inch height deficit, obviously Lewis and that is all folks. Wlad 's a top five all time great and he is still an active fighter. We are witnessing boxing history much like the storied career of Joe Louis and when he is finally gone we will miss him and finally start to give him his props.

Every division would look bad when the champ is several levels above everyone else.

Says you. Holfyeld lost to Moorrer, could not finish V Bean, was floored and might have received help from the ref vs. Bert Cooper, was cut by Larry Holmes, and lost the series to Bowe 1-2. Wlad beats Holy.

Tyson was not as good post prison 50/50

Lewis? I'd pick whomever had Steward in their corner. Pre Steward Lewis had balance issues, and did not learn defense.
