You only post about one fighter and you don't even like him. That makes you less of a boxing fan

If you think Wlad has a better resume than Vitali you are a ****ing ****. Wlad has a completely ****ing awful resume. He has never even been in the ring with a very good fighter and his brother would blow him away. Wlad's a bum champ. Fact.

I love boxing and calling out bull**** fanatics. Just so happens there is more of the latter going around on ESB.

    Fact:
Wlad was TKO'd by a glorified- Club fighter, a 38 yr old golfer, and an unheralded Juorneyman

    Sure they do.

    It's called free publicity.

Every time Wlad parades around in that bogus belt - the Ring makes more money...

Briggs didn't have to be the #2 HW in the world - he was the Linear Champion.

A feat Wlad has never been able to manage.

    Briggs > Wlad

Vitali KO'ed the guy who KTFO'ed Wlad in two rounds and hasn't lost since.

On the strenght of these two facts alone, Vitali has a better claim than does Wlad.

    Truth...

You've gone a little off-track with your facts.

    Sanders was 37.

Brewster went on to defend the WBO for 3 defenses. Not a Journeyman - a champion.

So, Lamon Brewster is the gauge by which we measure Wlad's greatness?

    Excuse me while I LMMFAO....

Wlad is a great fighter and has done everything he can to be great. He had his speed bumps and his struggles but has over came them and matured and dominated ever since.

Some of the posters are right Wlad really doesnt have any HOF guys on his resume is that his fault not really. He beats them all on the way up. and since hes at HWT they can go up or down to win a belt and build a HOF resume they jsut lose to Wlad. He beats the top 10 but mostly top 5 with relative ease. Minus him and his bro the division is up for grabs and equal and evenly matched. Everyone else can beat or be competitive with the rest but cant even win around vs Wlad.

Wlad can be dangerous in any era for any legend.

He may not live up to the standards set by many but he is great and doing everything he can to be greater

No, we examine his greatness by:

    1) Dominance against his opponents
    2) Longevity

He has never fought and says he never will fight the best ranked opponent in the division, Vitali.

How can you be THE man if you refuse to fight the other top guy. Vitali was also bestowed the RING title and never lost a fight since then!

Wlads WBO title is meaningless and has no lineage at all, the true WBO lineage can be traced to Vitali. Vitali beat Sanders who was the undefeated WBO champion after knocking out Wlad which puts vitali in a position of lineage of victory over Wlad.

Wlads IBF title comes from Byrd and holds no lineage of merit other than Byrds win over old and injured Holyfield for the vacant paper title bought by Don King for the price of a range rover while Lewis was THE man.

Vitali holds the more prestigous WBC title which i sthe direct lineage from Lewis. Dont forget that his win over Sanders was billed as for the Lineal title and gained him the Ring title, WBC and the right to the WBO title.

Wlad has never been Undisputed champion, until that day comes after he beats Audley and picks up Vitali`s retired WBC title he is just another beltholder.
