I do honestly believe the likes of Golota and Bruno would give the brothers tougher tests than they've had in years. Simply because they're quite big, and have good to decent skills, and bit of crack. Especially Bruno.

Not saying they'd be favourites, but they'd be more chance than guys like Austin, Brock, Chambers etc.

My opinion of Wlad has changed slowly over time, he's getting much better IMO.

My opinion of all but basically 2 of the current heavyweights hasn't though. they're average.

Because the current generation is poor. It's that simple. Not enough of the top guys fight each other to actually improve. So when they do get a shot at somebody that's pretty good (one of the 2 brothers) they haven't got the experience of past tough fights to call on to actually help. It's like watching men fight boys.

Part of that, is the K bros are very ****ing big, and are pretty good.
Part of that, is the current guys are average.


You've got guys like ****ing Povetkin who is 30 - THIRTY - years old turning down title shots because "he's not ready". He's ****ing 30 FFS. What's he waiting for? His 40th?

I would consider myself similar to Widdow really. While I do think (most) of the things I say, a lot of what I post is pushed to the extreme a bit to see what sort of reaction comes out...

 

I hate this crap that it was a lucky shot that caused the cut on Vitali's face, Lewis the only fighter I have really hit VK they were in a war. The photos I have seen of VK immediately after the fight show numerous cuts as well as swelling around the mouth and eyes in other words he was getting hit and hit hard.
Which is to be expected when facing a fighter of Lewis's calibre and full credit to VK he took the fight to Lewis, just don't tell me Lewis got lucky he was the one that threw the punches and they landed, remember that uppercut.

 

Very understandable. Getting people to react is basically what drives message boards, among other things.

It is also very difficult to find new ways of articulating opinions involving topics that arise with such frequency.
