Well I suppose if you include the fights that take up half his resume where he fought overmatched, grotesquely overweight and void of world title boxing ability, whom all fell flat on their face out of exhaustion rather than the all time great power of borat, you may have a case. Old Foreman was beaten by the 1st decent name on the resume of WK. Axel Shulz.

 

Personally I think Byrd is Wlad's best win by some margin. Byrd while boring was very effective, he beat Tua, Holyfield, McCline and Vitali. That's a better resume than any fighter today and he was also a title holder.

Chagaev may have been a very good amateur but he is nothing special. He's small for a heavyweight and his best win is a victory against Valuev who got very lucky against a shot Holyfield. If a shot fighter from a previous era can beat you, even a great one then you really can't be that good and the context of any victory over you can easily be valued.

Peter was a solid enough fighter but even in his prime he was crude and a fat James Toney proved how limited he was. Peter may have looked good in this era but in others, he would struggle to be a top 10 fighter.

Chamber is an even smaller poorer version of Byrd, he would not have even been a fringe contender during Lewis' era.

Brock seems solid enough but even a small heavy like Chambers was able to earn a decision against him.

Wlad's resume is very poor but he's fought and beaten everyone put in front of him and it's not like there are better opponents out there, the division just sucks at the moment.
