I tend to agree, but Adamek has the punching power and technique in order to potentially turn the fight on its head, whereas Arreola is a disgraceful sight these days. His punching form was non existent in his last outting, he was pushing all of his punches, they lacked snap from the opening bell. It was a pretty embarrassing showing, and no way could that version of Arreola ever hope to be competitive with a David Haye.

Don't be too quick to discount Adamek.

I'd be surprised if Arreola ever gets shown on HBO again...he's destined for a long stint on ESPN.

Yeah, Haye would ruin him, I'm sure.

Haye is a dangerous opponent for anyone like Arreola because he was punishing power. Vitali will just stick punches in your face all night, but Haye? He tries to take a guys head off with every shot and that's not good for a guy like Arreola who simply isn't physically conditioned for a puncher like Haye. Too sharp, too fast and too powerful. He'd get brutally stopped and I think it could end his career.

At least Adamek is a proud warrior though. I wouldn't want to see him get destroyed but I think it'd be brutal. I'd love to see him pick up a world title at some stage.

He went 10 rounds with Vitaly, more than others can say.

He then got outclassed by Adamek, a former Light Heavyweight, and then looked like absolute garbage against 29-5 Manuel Quezada.

...He was also getting the **** beat out of him against Vitali. :huh

And at least Adamek can move and throw combinations to the nose.

I think the fact he did, shows how limited Vitali is at this stage.

Haye vs Adamek is the biggest fight in the division outside of either fighting a Klitschko.

The fights big in the US and HBO will pay good money for this. Adamek can't keep fighting the Maddalone and Grants of the World and Haye can't fight another Audley.

These two would be a fantastic fight.

Yeah, Adamek has a lot going for him. It's interesting to see his development in recent years though, especially since going up to heavyweight. He's adjusted to suit cruiser and then heavy, which takes a lot of skill to do. I just don't know if his granite chin, which helped him at light heavy and cruiser, is still granite now.

I'd love to see him beat Vitali though. I think he could.

Adamek gets tired in the later rounds at Heavyweight, and doesn't seem all that steady on his feet when he's under fire. I think Haye brutally knocks him out, and probably early.

It'd be interesting to see what Haye-Adamek odds would be.

If Adamek is favored, I'd put everything I have in the bank on a Haye stoppage.

Age wise Adamek is past his peak now. He is only in the heavyweight division for slightly higher earnings which he can milk for a few years by fighting cans.

Grant nearly had Adamek on ***** street. As much as I dislike David Gaye, I honestly believe Gaye would win every round needed against Adamek with ease before a brutal stoppage.
