According to Dan Rafael at ESPN:

"I was told today by Wladimir Klitschko's adviser that they are having huge problems with the Haye fight and that Arreola may still be an option for Wladimir to fight."

I have no doubt that Haye is trying to dictate the terms, beyond anything reasonable. Haye talks too much, he needs to just shut up and fight.

Haye should thank his lucky stars Wlad is even looking in his direction. Haye has done absolutely nothing at heavyweight and is getting a shot at the #1 guy in the division. For what? For beating Monte Barrett? If Haye even asks for another cent, Wlad should tell him to **** off and sign the Arreola fight.

I have no idea where they are in their negotiations, but 60/40 for Wlad is more than generous to Haye IMO.

I said this all along. It is no surprise considering how long it's taking to get this fight signed. Wladdy must be trying to make Haye shovel some **** first.

Haye should sign the contract or shut up.

Than Wladimir should fight Arreola. Haye is the contender and cannot dictate the options of the fight.

I really hope this fight is pulled off. I can't stand this about boxing. One of the reasons why so many other sports are more popular, is the fact that you will always see great match-ups in other sports. They are scheduled every year during that sports' season.

In American Football, you will always see the Dallas Cowboys take on the Washington Redskins twice a year.

In the NBA, you will always see the Lakers battle the Spurs in the regular season and, most of the time, in the playoffs.

Boxing, on the other hand...you just never know if that great anticipated match-up will be made.

Steward said, that Haye acted in the negotioations like he is the champ. Ican imagine that. But silly Haye has to shut the **** up and sign the fight or he is out. Outpricing himself. He is a nobody at HW and he will be a nobody at HW.

I agree...i would much rather see this fight made maybe a year from now after he has settled into this weight. He is just not fast enough yet at heavyweight for Wlad Klitschko. At least, according to what we saw during the Barrett fight.

the fact that Glass Jaw Haye is even getting a sniff at a Unified Heavyweight Champion after beating Monte Barrett a guy that Haye's opponent Wlad beat 8 years previous in brutal fashion is laughable.

Haye is a delusional idiot. I still say the fight does not happen he fights someone else and gets KOed. There goes his big payday.

Haye is afraid of getting knocked out here. it's pretty obvious if you follow it closely. He will sabotage this fight but try to make it look like Klitschko's or the lawyer's fault.

I agree with all you guys , Haye is exciting to watch. But..Wlad??? nahh baby ..Wlad will keep him off with the jab for 2 rounds then club him with the hammer . Haye got one punch ..yes its a good one ..but what happens when the dust clears and Wlad is still standing there. Just like against Thompson , Haye smacked him a few times and he took em ..all of em .

he can't do that. Wlad is THE Champion in the scenario here is willing to go to Haye's back yard for a fight.

Anyone with half a brain knows if the fight does not happen it is on Haye.

Wlad could easily say let's fight in Germany or the USA but he didn't.

Haye already has little credibility after taking a ridiculous 4 months to handpick Monte Barrett for a fight.

Agreed! I think it's at the very least questionable that he deserves a shot at the HW (one of them anyway) title.
