What's all this **** about Haye not earnings his shot? He was undisputed cruiser champ.
If he fought 4 or 5 top 15/ top 10 fighters you would still be giving him ****. Bunch of ****s.

I understand that... but this is a "voluntary Defense" And Wlad is the Champ with his belts on the line. Like I keep saying at some point Haye will price himself right out of a fight. Like in ANY business, if the numbers dont make sense for a company (K2) then you dont do it

For Haye, backing out would be a good move. He would have a tough time beating Vlad. Although if he hits Vlad's chin early he could knock him out.

Its not about "wanting the brothers" or wanting to "clean out the division" or "wanting to fight the best".....
I have said this since day 1..... its all about $$$$ for Haye.

If the big money fight was with the #5 rated HW, thats who haye would be calling out.

He couldnt make big $$ at CW so when he decided to move up, he looked at who is the big money fight. NOT who is the best so I can prove myself. Now that Wlad has stepped up, Haye wants the World. I have no problem wanting to get as much as you can, but at some point he will price himself out if he is not careful

I think Haye knows he is Wlad's biggest money opponent, by FAR, and he's milking that for all he can get out of it.

I think the fight will happen, but Haye seems to be pushing it to the very limit and trying to squeeze every last dime he can out of them.

Boxing is a business, afterall. They fight to make money, regardless of what they say.

And as has been said, Haye brings MUCH more clout to this fight than a mere win over Monte Barrett. Haye's amazing house cleaning at Cruiserweight carries over to heavyweight. It must, cause why else is Haye Wlad's biggest money opponent? Its cause Haye was a unified champion in his own right, at one mere weight division down.

Unifying the cruiser titles means an awful lot, and many of you unfairly discredit Haye by saying all he's done is beat Barrett. To discredit an amazingly powerful, UNIFIED champion like Haye like that is bull****.

That said, Wlad does deserve the biggest percentage, but not by much. I would say 55/45 would be fair. Haye is a big name who brings an awful lot of excitement and drawing power to this fight. Ten fold more than that obese overrated Arreola would bring.

you talk like haye is exclusive in wanting the best deal as well as the best fight. let's face it, you wouldn't speak a bad word against wlad or vitali if they double teamed your woman, filmed it and showed it to you.

seriously. it's no secret haye ideally would like to beat one of the bro's, cash out as champ and fight 2/3 more times max before calling it a day, he's said it on more than one occasion, i agree with some of what you said.

but the best normally = ££££££££

....and haye has proven in his short career to date it's all about fighting the best. just because he's coming up against your apparent employers doesn't mean you have to **** on him.

Im not shitting on Haye. Im calling it the way I see it. I have no ill will toward Haye. I even said, I agree a fighter should go for as much as he can. What I have a problem with is, be honest about it. Dont say you want Wlad cause he is the best and you would fight him "Right NOW" and then hold out for more and more cash. I know the offers. He should sign is all I can say

    Who cares.

If you are fighting the best, sometimes the biggest money comes with that. I don't think anybody here is in a position to know the motivations of either party, nor do they know the hitch in the negotiations as they pretend to.

As far as I'm concerned Haye wanting to fight the best should be applauded, whether his main thing is money or not.
