i'm pretty confident the fight gets made. It's got to be the #1 money maker for both, and money is what drives fights, so it should get done. Wlad-Arreola would have a good budget, but not that of Wlad-Haye.

Actually his fight with Barrett only had 343,000 viewers and it was on regular Setanta.

Sorry but people have tried to sell us on Haye, but I think that Povetkin has done the most of the none title holders to earn a shot at Wlad. I honestly think Donald, Byrd and Chambers are a better lineup than Mormeck and Enzo.

the fight is on...common arreola wont take wlad this early in his career. he still needs to beat other contenders before getting the biggest fight in his career

He could have rescheduled the fight, especially seeing as Haye's last fight had 343,000 viewers in the UK and Povetkin's fight vs Sykes had north of 10 million in Russia.

The fight will happen I'm sure of that assuming Wlad remains unbeaten until that time.BTW,please take into account the respective populations of the two regions. Was Povetkin/Sykes PPV?Haye was on Setanta which isn't PPV but you have to subscribe to the channel so that might explain even though Barrett/Haye was never going to be a thriller

No I believe it was on NTV, which is network, but major sports are on network, not on premium cable.

I think Haye/Klitschko will be a bigger fight altogether than Povetkin/Wlad fight with all due respect to Povetkin

One of them has proven to be a massive draw on several occasions, drawing 20,000+ twice in Moscow and thousands in Germany plus scoring million plus person ratings in several European countries.

Do you mean 20,000 people in attendance?
You can see the interest this fight has generated already and they haven't even put pen to paper yet

Yes, twice, vs Mayfield and Donald.

And don't be fooled, a big part of that is just the hype that has been built up by the guys at HBO and Setanta, it is the same hype for Arreola in the US. Neither has faced the level of opposition at heavyweight to really make me buy into either of those fights.
