good... high carbs and protein... red meat if you can for the iron and b12...
also if you can get watermelon for after workouts... helps you rehydrate and gets your bodies natural sugar back up kinda like drinking a sports drink after

If you drink a sports drink...thin with water 25% to cut the heavy sugar content

Lots of bananas for potassium ( keeps your muscles from cramping) and oatmeal with blueberries in the morning

Dooood thanks for that info. I have serious issues with muscle cramping and pulls and I bet I don't get much potassium. I'll have to get some bananas again soon.

Chef, Good stuff, you really seem to know your business. Just wondering, how was Wlad's eating habits before you started working with him?

his habits werent bad but he was a prisoner of whatever restaurant was in the hotel...He eats the same but the food is clean... nothing instant.. all from scratch so I can control the salt, sugars, and fat. after 3 1/2 years now, he knows what to look for when eating on his own. It took me a while to figure out what worked for him. Everyone is different

Best part, I have taught Wlad how to BBQ... man he is really good now... I make the veg and starch and sauce, he grills the meats.... He is almost better at then I am:yep

Yeah there does seem to be a difference. Before the Peter fight there were questions of his stamina. Since he went 12 with Peter quite comfortably, there has been no evidence of any stamina problem or chin problem. SO well done sir!

I'm amateur boxer for 5 years now and i can say that all my problems during championships was because of food problems. Sometimes you go in the ring with only one thing in your mind "Please don't hit me in a stomach coz i will crap my pen". It's pretty hard to keep breathing and moving.

you must think this way during training... its very easy.....
Think of your body as a car... you put shitty gas in..the car doesnt run well.... good gas, and the gar goes and goes and goes.... same with your body... bad food = slow, no stamina ETC.... good food= you can do ANYTHING:good
