Who cares. The problem is who has the courage to fight the Champion. I believe James Toney will be such a man.
You are a Haye fan and therefore not objective. you haye fans are pathetic. Approving everything their hero does. You want to serously argue that Barett is more credible than Toney or Rahman? You have NO boxingknowledge, and therefore incompetent. James Toney is an ATG. Do you even know what an ATG is? - James Toney has beaten better competition at heavyweight and crusierweight than Haye himself.(Jirov, Hoilyfield, Guinn, Oquendo, Booker, Ruiz , draw Rahman, Barchelder, Peter )first fight arguably). Toney was only beaten by Peter so far and arguably won the first fight - Barett is a shot bum. He was never even in his prime a Top contender. He lost every MEANINGFUL fight in his career. Rahman himself won every round against Barett a few years back. Did you even know that, you idiot?!!Well, I guess not beacuse you know nothing about the sport. Probably started watching it with David Haye -Rahma. is an ex champ, Barett not. Rahman beat LL so he is well known in the UK. Rahman has a solid record, certainly better than Barett's. Now you are just an incompetent idiot, and I won't discuss with you again. Haye faced a bum instead of an ATG, en of story.
It is back in line for Haye now. He probably has to wait another 2 years to get a title shot. He could still fight Toney in the US, would be a good fight.
Un-****ing-believable. :deal Can I have standard, nah, make that a double. So now we are lauding praise on a two time drug cheat, who has two questionable SD wins in his last six fights. So if Haye beats this guy then he is worthy to fight Klitschko. Haye has the balls to fight Klitschko - don't you worry about that.
The other guy is a incompetent idiot because he thinks that Barett was a more credible opponent than Toney and Rahman. I will give you an honest answer. Rahman would certainly have travelled to the UK to fight Haye. He did travel to Germany to face Wladi. If the money is right, I think there is a good possibility Toney would have fought him in London. I am not 110 per cent sure though because Toney has not fought in Europe since th early 90's. But at this stage of his career I can see him doing it but only if the money is right. It is just that Haye seems to be very difficullt negotioate with. Let's remember Toney has called him out on several occasions. Why not make the fight in the US now. Toney is well known over there and Haye would increase his popularity. I mean Haye has to come to the US sooner or later, he can't hide forever in his backyard.
Yes. Haye can box against Rahman, Thompson for example in the US. Why not? Hay could have the biggest payday of his career fighting Wlad. If he will not realize it, Wlad should let him go and search another opponent who is willing to fight. This bul****, send a contract sign by the Champ, it comes back, sign not by Haye and so on, had to stop. Haye should tell the truth: Will he box or not? Or will he wait, maybe one or two fights. It is no problem. But a big mouth and little eggs :tired:yep:yep
The way Haye has been stalking Wlad, you'd think he'd agree to fight him for FREE in a heartbeat. And now that he got the opportunity, he's whining about the contract not being perfect. Wlad doesn't need to fight him. Take the ****ing fight, and if you beat him you'll be calling the shots next time. I don't think Haye is nearly as confident as he portrays himself.
The contractual details that have been reported mean that your last sentence is absolutely untrue. If Haye beat Kiltschko, K2 would be 'calling the shots next time'. And the time after that as well!
Well the rematch clause is nothing out of the ordinary. The only odd thing is that Haye would be required to fight Vitali also. But Haye said he wants both Klitschkos anyway, so what's the problem?
Depends what the contract actually says. From what Adam Booth said previously what has been characterised as a 'rematch clause' was actually open options for K2 on Haye's next two fights if he won.
I didn't say anything about Tompson, did I? atsch Rahman however is NOT a good choice. Neither is Toney. :deal Wlad could also receive HIS biggest payday against Haye, who brings a big British fanbase and a whole lot of excitement to a stagnant division. Wlad needs Haye just as much in this scenario. As for the contract - do you think it is fair that K2's options on Haye's next two fights is something Haye should agree to simply because Wlad is a champion???
Haye cant sell flies in the UK. Yes his fight against Macaranelli sold out but that was because the devil himself, Frank Warren promoted it as the Battle of Britain, and it got everyones attention. Lets not pretend like Haye sells out every fight and is the man who brings the money to the table because he isnt. Plus he needs to realise that he is not the champion and has done sweet f.a. in the heavyweight division, he cannot expect to dictate to a recognised champion in the division he wants to get started in when his only main fight in that division was against a Monte Barrett who was 3- 3 in his last 6 fights and one of those losses was to a man who Wlad just beat on short notice who the Haye ball swingers like to criticise Wlad for whilst championing Hayes win.
haye backed down. and exposed himself as a fake. Wlad tried everything to make this fight and it's obvious now Haye only pretended he thought he could beat Klitschko. Much like maywether pretends he could beat Margarito, Cotto or Mosley.
